This is a gorgeous place - absolutely glorious room, smart, elegant and sophisticated with all mod cons. Not sure if all the rooms are as nice as the one we had which was not in the main house - worth checking. Gorgeous pool, garden and house setting. Attentive, hospitable owners. Nice lunch and breakfast in a pretty setting. Lovely views from the house and only a short drive to Montecatini Alto which is a quaint and atmospheric hill top hamlet full of wonderful restaurants clustered around the ancient central plaza - archetypal Tuscan setting for an outdoor lunch/dinner - and as lovely as anywhere you will find in Tuscany. You can also reach Alto by funicular which is lovely but have to drive to outside Montecatini Terme to get to the station.

The road into Montecatini and up to Villa Pitti Amerighi is not the nicest and we did panic at one stage when we thought we had arrived, surrounded by residential houses/warehouses. But the hotel is a little outside of this and once there, you feel like you are in a natural oasis and dont see or here anything- peaceful serenity.

Prices reasonable for the quality if what this place offers. Highly recommended.

The stuff was very helpful and nice , except of the girl from reception doesn't speak any kind of English ! I asked for some eggs and she didn't understand ! Breakfast was quite poor , bread a bit dry and they have only boiled eggs but cold !! The deluxe suite is big spacious , they only problem shower functions quite strange ! For italian esspresso you have to pay EXTRA !

We stayed for 7 nights and had a fabulous time. This place is very relaxing and Stefano, the owner, is very hands on along with his wife and a small staff. The rooms and public areas were always spotless. A good continental style breakfast buffet is served and a light lunch can be ordered.

Stefano gave us a list of local restaurants which write all very good. We chose to take taxis because of parking and a desire to test the local wine, and it was €10 - 15 each way.

The pool is quiet and very clean.

I would strongly recommend this place as a base for exploring Tuscany. The A11 is close by, as is a railway station to visit Florence, Pisa etc.

The property was massively restored from 2000 to 2010 and is really beautiful.

We spent 4 nights at Villa Pitti Amerighi during our 10 day Rome/Tuscany honeymoon trip. We had read TripAdvisor reviews about this property being hard to find, so we knew to look carefully for the entrance. We didn't have any trouble finding it, but I can see why some say they had trouble.

Stefano greeted us upon arrival, and gave us restaurant and site seeing recommendations. He then helped us with our luggage, and had a bottle of prosecco sent to the room.

After spending time in Rome and Florence, the first thing we noticed once we got to our room is how quiet it was. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite (room #10), which is separate from the main building. It is above the the kitchen and breakfast service area, but we didn't hear any noise from the kitchen in the morning. The suite was very spacious, with a separate living room and bedroom. The bathroom was also spacious, with a large jetted tub, and a separate shower. Although it was hot outside, the suite stayed very cool during the day. There is air conditioning, but we found that we didn't need to use it. The room was very clean, and smelled fresh.

There is free wifi that worked for us 95% of the time we were there. The wifi signal even extends to the pool area.

Breakfast is included, and it does not disappoint. For breakfast they have fresh fruit, pastries, cured meats, cheeses, yogurt, juice, and coffee. The dining tables are on a covered patio, with scenic views of the surrounding countryside. During breakfast each morning, Stefano would come and greet each guest at their table.

The saltwater pool is a great place to relax. There are plenty of padded, reclining pool chairs, covered by retractable awnings. It was never crowded.

We did not rent a car, but I would highly recommend doing so if you plan to stay here. It's about 2.5km to Montecatini, which is not a bad walk, but it's a lot of walking if you go into town every day. Villa Pitti Amerighi has plenty of gated parking. We plan to stay here again some day, and we will definitely rent a car next time.

Overall we had a great stay, and highly recommend Villa Pitti Amerighi to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Room Tip: We loved the Deluxe Suite

It was our first time at Villa Pitti while travelling through the Tuscany for 5 nights. The Villa is hard to find nowhere signs could be better described. The first impression with Stefano was very good with lots of useful informations.
The place itself is really beautiful, peaceful well maintained and calm. What a park perfect for some days to relax. Montecantini is about 5 minutes away by car and there are lots of restaurants. The best restaurants we did find a bit outside.
The pool area is amazing with lots of sunshades and sunbeds most of all not crowded. The room ( Club room ) wasn't exciting very dark bathroom was very small and tight and the mattress and pillow was very hard not really cozy indeed big enought for some days with lots of space.
In any case the room was spotlessly clean with very good smell. Wi-Fi worked almost everywhere and was free.
The family was really willing to have the place clean. Its not allowed to eat indoors and on the pool. Maybe too hard rules but is so. For that reason nowhere spots on the floor everything is really clean.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of dishes and with a nice terrace above all very stylish. The breakfast could start earlier for my taste but of course is a matter of taste. Only one thing is not ok in my opinion that you have to pay the cappuccino. We are in Italy! Dinner was not available but they offer a light lunch. Pool service was also not available. There is a nice and safe parking.
They also offer a massage which we did try but was not exciting for my taste. All the staff was friendly. Anyway If you are looking for a quiet place without children look no further than Villa Pitti.
I would recommend this place and for sure we would come back.
