It's hard to add to the previous reviews which reflect what a special place this is. Kavos is one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed in - enhanced by the staff who work hard to provide a calm , warm efficient service . The accommodation is wonderful - set amongst a beautiful fragrant garden - we enjoyed the peacefulness and privacy of our villa , particularly sitting on the roof terrace looking at the panoramic view which was spectacular in the evenings when the sun set behind the Island of Paros.
The food was so good we ended up eating in the Hotel restaurant 4 of the 5 nights we were there - the fresh fish was the best we've eaten in Greece .
We will definitely return .

Perfect location looking out over the best beaches: Agios Prokopios and Plaka Beaches. Authentic hospitality coupled with accommodation that truly suited our needs: not over-decorated; quiet: comfortable; clean and fresh. Really enjoyed the private patio space, as well as the superb pool.
Will definitely return. Fulfilled all expectations.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been: it's obvious a lot of care and love was put in creating this place.
Hotel manager Barbara is an outstanding professional, kind, polite, very helpful, both before booking and during our stay. We found it a tad overpriced in August but even this issue was resolved by the management.
5 stars for cleanliness (and another 5 for the smiling faces of the cleaning staff).
Breakfast was not included but we tried it once and it was REALLY good! Make sure you try especially those wonderful jams the chef makes (apple, wine and cinnamon: what an inspiration). Actually, it would be a great idea for the hotel to offer the 1st breakfast free to people staying for 3 nights or more, just to lure people in!

Outstanding hotel. Nicely located on the hilltop above a great beach (5 minutes walk to the nearest end). Room was a good size, spotlessly clean with a comfy bed. Food in the hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. The main town where there are loads of great restaurants and bars is a 10 minute taxi ride away costing 10 euro. All in all a great holiday hotel, friendly and relaxing. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

Amazing! That is the one word I would use to describe Naxos Hotel Kavos. We arrived for our 3-night stay in late July 2013 into the port via the high-speed ferry from Athens and were greeted by our friendly taxi driver who we had prearranged with hotel (12 euro). When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Barbara, who I had spoken to via email several times before our arrival. She was just as sweet & friendly in person as she was in email. Our room was not ready since it was only 12pm, so we went out to the pool and ordered lunch from the restaurant. The pool/restaurant area is magnificent. It's a tiny tropical paradise adorned with green foliage and flowers. The infinity pool overlooking the sea brings an immediate sense of relaxation to you. Our salads were yummy and Sarah was super friendly and sweet.

Barbara came to get us when our room was ready and had already taken out bags to the room. She showed us the way to Villa #6. The room was just as it appeared in the pictures online. We had a large bed a few steps above our sitting area. A nicely appointed bathroom and small kitchenette. We had a front porch with a seating area, as well as a 2nd floor terrace that was exclusively ours. The view of the sea from our room and terrace were breathtaking.

The pool is absolutely divine, perfect temperature and picturesque views engulf you. We spent most of our 3 days lying poolside. The hotel has more of a bread & breakfast feel to it, as the staff is wonderful, friendly & helpful. Having a gourmet chef and menu at your disposal 12 hours a day isn't bad either. The food was wonderful. We ate most of our meals there, simply because it was so good and easy. All the meals are put on your bill for check out and then you can tip the staff all at once.

On our first night, we walked down to the town/beach at Agios Propikos, about a 20 minute walk. The beach was nice, bur crowded and not as many stores & restaurants as we would have liked. The next night we went into Naxos Town. Sarah gave us some great recommendations. We walked down the street 10 minutes to the bus stop and took the bus to the port (1,60 euro). We walked around the town & climbed up to the top of the Temple of Apollo. We were there for Happy Hour and most of the restaurants along the water had drink specials (4 euro). After HH, a lot more stores opened up in the old market. The winding streets are so quaint and some of the shops have great finds. We ate dinner at Labyrinth (Sarah's reco) and it was fabulous. Yummy food and very reasonable prices for these New Yorkers. Naxos Town really comes alive late at night. At 10pm the city is bustling with adults and children of all ages. We recommend having desert at Waffle House at the end of the main drag.
One day we walked down to the coves on the beach and had a dip in the water.

After being back for over a month now, Naxos was our favorite stop on our 2-week trip and it is due mostly (if not entirely) to Naxos Hotel Kavos. We highly recommend it if you are traveling to Naxos. It is paradise on earth and you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to return one day.

Room Tip: We were in Villa #6 which was far enough away from the pool noise. However, we didn't get WiFi inside the room in this villa.
