Lovely bright, fresh, modern rooms with air conditioning & showers etc that really work set amongst stunning gardens. A beautiful pool (could do with a few more sunloungers perhaps though). The only down side is that you do need a car to go out to eat or to the beah if you have small children, but the food in the hotel is so good you don't have to go out and its reasonably priced too, probably the best food we had on Naxos. There's even a very good little gym to work it off too! The staff are superb and service is personal, friendly and warm, you really feel like they want you to enjoy your holiday and will do all they can to facilitate this. They organised us car hire (at a very good rate) and then told us how to get to the best beaches, sights and even car parks in town!

Traveled with our 18 and 19 year old children. Barbara was a fine hostess- prompt replies to email inquiries before our arrival and gracious throughout. Upon our arrival, she upgraded us to a villa so out kids would have full beds instead of sleeper-sofa beds - at no additional charge (Our kids are quite tall). Rooms are recently upgraded with beautiful baths, comfortable sitting areas and nice bathrooms. All have A/C. Beds are on firm side. Spotless rooms and great staff. Grounds are lovely with beautiful flowers and gardens. Nice pool-side bar. Excellent breakfast by the pool or in your room. Typical island fare with fresh squeezed OJ, ripe fruit and yoghurt, fresh breads and delicious coffee. Hotel overlooks on of the nicest beaches on Naxos. Nice pool with great views over the ocean as the hotel is quite a ways above the water. Your really will want a rental car as everything is spread out on Naxos and the island is quite large. Few minutes by car to the beach- would be a long and hot walk in summer. Good beach side restaurants about 10 minutes drive away and about 20 minutes to the main town. Frequent live music in the main town. Apparently more renovation is planned in the near future- but frankly I can't see how you'd make it much nicer. Highly recommended.

After two months of travelling with a toddler, we booked 5 nights at Kavos as a treat (and to celebrate a birthday). We stayed five nights in a suite, which was beautifully decorated and renovated (a good size for two, but a bit tight for three), the grounds are lush and green (rare for the area), and the pool area is perfect, with plenty of lounges and all-day bar service. Barbara, Manos, Sarah, Christos and all the cleaning staff are so incredibly friendly, that after 12 days we felt like part of the family. Sarah knew our coffee order and Barbara arranged our car hire. We loved Kavos so much we stayed another 7 nights in one of the apartments (number 4), which was really spacious and amazingly private. The kitchen was basic but had more than enough to cook a simple meal. The hotel is a bit remote, but we enjoyed the 15 minute walk to agios prokopios - and with the beaches packed with four-wheel motorbikes and heaps of tourists, we were glad to be a bit removed from it. Fortunately, Christos serves amazing food at the Kavos restaurant so we were happy to eat in for many of the nights (service is a little slow, but food well worth the wait). We could probably head up the Kavos fan club we loved it so much - it was by far the best place we stayed in our 3 month European trip. Wish we were there now!

Warm smiles, gracious service, meals prepared with pride in a beautiful setting.

Villa Elektra has recently been remodeled and was very comfortable for our family of four.

We saw one couple that seemed frustrated that the chef in the kitchen could not simultaneously prepare and serve a number of tables at exactly the same time. Meals in Greece are not served in a New York minute. But, we never felt neglected.

Naxos is a wonderful island to visit. It has hidden treasures, lovely small towns, beautiful beaches and a great diving shop. Kavos is a great place to stay on this island.

My husband and I and our two older teenage sons stayed in Villa Electra at Kavos for three nights and it was a fantastic stay. The villa was spotless, had a marvelous sitting area, two beautiful marble bathrooms and a glorious roof top sitting area. The gardens are just spectacular. The service was kind and personal and the staff couldn't have been nicer to our sons. Barbara arranged our rental car and we were very happy to find it waiting at the port upon our arrival. The internet is only accessible in the lobby and it is quite slow, but this was a small inconvenience. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and high recommend Kavos.

More a small group of immaculate holiday villas in lush floral gardens than a traditional Hotel, which we were very pleased with. Recently refurbished to a high standard and kept spotlessly clean with a daily maid service.Indeed service all round is very good and friendly.
We ensured we booked a Villa with a roof terrace and would encourage others [without small children] to do likewise.Panoramic views/sunsets.

If we return to Naxos we would definately book the Kavos.

We preferred to laze by the pool during the day [ this followed a busy break in Athens! ]and catch a cab into Naxos each evening for some shopping and dinner. We would recommend Scirroco in the main square for good quality food , keen prices and excellent friendly service at this family run restaurant --great atmosphere.

Painting holidays are also available in May and October and the artists are both very nice and very talented!

5* hotel in Naxos. It is a little out of the way- 15 minutes walking to bus stop or nearest beach, 15 mins. by car to Chora- but oh what an oasis! We were upgraded to their 2 bedroom honeymoon suite and it was roomy and spectacular. Flowers and trees all over property. Quiet and peaceful. Meals were excellent but slow service. Free internet (very slow dial-up). Manager Barbara was very helpful. Very clean. Beautiful pool area. Lovely, lovely hotel. Highly recommended!
