If you are somewhat fit and do not have children, it is very easy to find a quite spot on the rocky beach. The snorkeling is not spectacular but offers great visibility and quite a few fishes.

Very nice beaches both small and big one. Perfect for chilling and relaxing, good for friends and families, was a bit too crowded, but still had a great time there.

It's a great beach, never too crowded. But nothing to do in the evening, so you would want to go to Pigadia (main place on island).
Problem is that Amoopi is not connected with Pigadia by public transport at all. First time I've witnessed it on any Greek island. Taxis are expensive for low budget travelers. In my opinion, stay in Pigadia, and use bus to come to Amoopi.

Another thing is renting a car. Have to warn you about rent a car "Amoopi" (on the road from the beach to the main road). We have been given such an awful cars (smelly AC, squiqing brakes, torn parts), that we have to return it every time (we have tried 2). Unfortunatelly, we have paid in advance, it was impossible to get all our money back.
