“A Dissapointing Experience”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

We visited Sir Robert Stanford Wines on a Friday afternoon in mid - February, 2014, for the purpose of tasting their wines. We met with a most dis - interested person who provide us with a couple of tastings. He gave us no information about the wines and made no attempt to appear interested or enthusiastic. We left after paying for the uneventful tastings. Not recommended!

“Best wines and service ever”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Please visit Sir Robert Stanford Wines whenever you are in the vacinity of Hermanus- Stanford. The best service received by Jo-anne Dreyer and the most beautifull wines tasted in the region. The Hansom is simply devine and not to forget the Cutters Cove Shiraz/Viognier.

“Wonderful!”
Reviewed 5 April 2014 via mobile

Wine tasted, wonderful lunch, beautiful setting! From California traveling and this winery was recommended as we are staying in Gansbaai shark diving. I loved it here and loved the gift shop too! Unique gifts and fair prices!

“Wines with history”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

What is not to like?! We loved every wine we tasted (the Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz are particular highlights) and the fact that there is so much history and many stories behind the wines makes it even more interesting. A well appointed and comfortable tasting room, knowledgable and friendly staff and great wines = perfect wine tasting experience!
