“PERFECT LOCATION TO RELAX AND APPRECIATE LIFE”

From the moment we booked our stay to the day we arrived back in the UK the owners provided us with the best support and assistance.

We were two families and the Villa provided us with the perfect amount of space. The vIlla is decorated to a high standard with air-conditioning in 3 of the 4 bedrooms. Each room was spacious enough with good amenities. There were also several secluded chill out zones and on one day I did not even see my friends!

The view is breathtaking and I spent a whole day sitting and watching the world go by. I have never done this before but I would highly recommend those who have a very busy and pressurised life.

The pool is a great size to just relax or swim in and was enjoyed by all in our party.

The villas location to the town and the beaches was perfect for us. Every morning some of us jogged into town (5km) to watch the sun rise from the harbour and get to the bakery. The drive to the most spectacular beaches took about 10 minutes.

We hired a car and I would recommend doing this. Magic Cars on the Island were great and very efficient. It cost us about £250/week for a small car.

I would highly recommend this Villa and the Island of Skopelos.

“Lose yourself in the olive groves”

Tucked away in the olive groves lies the majestic Villa Elia. Upon entering we were in awe of the breath-taking views of Skopelos town and port. Picture perfect as the sun melted away into the horizon.

The variety of levels made the villa perfect for a large family holiday, enabling everyone to have their space but also enjoy the stunning views with their own private terrace. In the evening, we got together and dined on the terrace by candlelight, allowing us to absorb the magical location.

Located merely minutes from Skopelos town you are spoilt for choice when it comes to food and can even opt for cooking in. I would highly recommend this as the local produce is a real treat and you can make use of the Webber barbeque supplied at the villa. The attention to detail in Villa Elia is second to none, with its authentic Greek crockery and artisan furnishings, making the stay even more comfortable. It feels like a home away from home.

For the adventurous, nothing stops you from exploring the island. As recommended by the owners this is the best way to explore the hidden gems, that have seen Skopelos rise to fame in the hit film Mamma Mia. Boy, were they right! Not only did we visit the Church of Agios Ioannis Kastri but found ourselves in the fishing town of Agnondas, Glossa and many a secret beach.

If you are looking for an escape look no further, Villia Elia is the place for you.

“Perfect place for a special celebration ... and some Mamma Mia moments!”

We were a group of 8 friends celebrating various milestone occasions. The villa was a great layout for four couples, apart from the single beds in two rooms, but that wasn't a big issue. We hired cars and explored the island, which I would recommend, as it is quite large and beaches and other sites can easily be explored with your own transport. The Mamma Mia chapel and other sites where movie scenes were filmed are a must for fans like us (or at least the females in the group!) A screening of the movie in the open air cinema, Orfeas, on a Wednesday night was a highlight and good fun. Shame we weren't there on the Saturday night for the post-screening Mamma Mia party . The house was well stocked with everything you need, and only a short distance to shops and restaurants, bars, tavernas, etc. The owner had excellent recommendations about places to visit, eat, drink and swim, and we weren't disappointed with any we tried, as well as finding a few of our own to recommend to future guests. Air conditioning is one thing which would make the stay just that bit more comfortable when the temperatures are consistently high, even at night, as they were during our visit, but there is always the pool to cool off. I would highly recommend a stay here and would love to visit again some time to explore other parts of the island as a week just wasn't enough. Too many places to relax and unwind on Greek time ... before we knew it, we were on the ferry to our next destination. It all seems a bit surreal now that we're back home in Australia. More please

So glad you loved the Villa and the island Sharon and had a wonderful time. There was a heat wave during your stay so we have now put Dyson tower fans in every bedroom which are as good as air con. You can enjoy them next time! Best wishes, Sally and Bill

“Magical peaceful villa with stunning views yet only a stones throw from town”

This beautifully furnished, artisan style, villa is serenely situated just above Skopelos town. It is so tempting to spend hours sitting on the veranda or by the pool, quietly contemplating the temperature of your cold beer or wine while watching the comings and goings in the harbour below. Alternatively you could drag yourself away from this perfect relaxation to venture out to find one of the many beautiful beaches which are within easy striking distance and cooling down in the crystal clear blue sea.
This truly is a magical location, the island is beautiful and Skopelos town has a great variety of interesting and good quality shops, along with great bars and restaurants. The Villa Elia is the perfect base from which to enjoy the beauty of this island. The villa is spacious, really well furnished and equipped, it has lovely bedrooms and lots of outdoor living space. It is in an elevated position above the town, set in an olive grove with spectacular views looking down on the town and harbour below.
The owners clearly are passionate about there 'home' and present the villa wonderfully well, they also provide all of the information that you might need to ensure that you can take advantage of everything that this amazing island has to offer.
