“Good food but they get overwhelmed when busy”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

We went twice during our weeks stay. The first time it was fabulous - some of the best modern Greek food we have ever eaten ( I adore the salad with dried fruit). The second time it was very busy - 2 big groups and several people waiting for tables and I think the staff were panicking a bit. Everything was a bit rushed and some of the dishes did not seem to have been prepared with just the same amount of care, it was still very good. Fantastic value for the quality, prices roughly the same as other establishments. We booked both times. Love the setting and décor, nice loos. Waiters pleasant when not overwhelmed. Think it is more suited to grown ups although lots of families with younger children there both times, the 'cool vibe' with the cocktail bar next door just does not seem that suited to kids running about in my opinion. Obviously it is new, and I'm sure it will hit its stride - it deserves to do very well and it suits a the setting and the Island.

“Excellent meals in a modern setting”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Indoor our outside on the verandah. Excellent meals, greek cuisine but with a modern twist and a very good wine list.

“A little bit special”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

We visited this restaurant twice on our recent holiday and really enjoyed it on both occasions.
They provided gluten free food for one of our party who is also a vegetarian and has a nut allergy and went through the whole menu with us.
High quality food and service plus really good value for money.
Loved it.

“Contemporary Greek dining in 2014”
Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

After many years of holidays in Greece, part of what I love is that the menus don't change and you know what to expect.
zoupa have managed to retain this but make a good Greek meal a 2014 restaurant experience.
I loved the decor and style of the adjacent cocktail bar and ice cream snack bar - all one assumes owned by same company. All fresh and immaculate.
Great meal with huge portions of good well cooked food.
Odd random menu changes as always but we ate quite late.
Their credit card machine was not working which could be a problem if you rely on a credit card. However, I am sure they would have been accommodating if this was an issue.
Rare to find combination of Greek food with a modern twist.
Personally, I'd expect Cotton napkins just to make it perfect.

“Hectic service,ok food”
Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

2 waiters out of their depth, running around ignoring/forgetting requests, the food was tasty ,we had moussaka, chicken kebab and a pear cheese salad but the overall ambience of the place was let down by the " Benny Hill" type service.
