The hotel claims a 4 star rating, God knows on which scale. On a regular 5 star rating, it would only qualify for 1, maybe 2. The first which meets you upon arrival is a garden which must have been neglected for years. Then you see all the rubbish which is piling up everywhere, with little or no attempt being made of hiding it from the guests. There is no reception, you sign in at the bar. Our room was spacious, with windows to three sides, two of them towards the sea. Through each of these windows we could see more rubbish piling up. The bed could have been classified as antique if it had been taken proper care of, the remaining furniture consisted of a low sofa coverd by what seemed to be a sheet, a table and two dining room chairs. The bathrooom was only slighlty bigger that what you find in a cabin on board a ferry, and the hardware around and beneath the mirror was heavily corroded. The TV was hung 2 meters up the wall and the screen so small it was impossible to read any subtitels. We had both lunch and dinner in various locations in the hotel, and it was ok, nothing more. Breakfast was served between 9 am and 10 am only, and was very basic. The only good thing to be said about this establishment is that the staff was friendly. But that is not much help when you wish you had never signed in there in the first place!
