We stayed at the colocated resort and didn't realise that most guests had booked meals at the resort - our very lucky mistake. Rather than dine at the 2000+ seat resort restaurant, we wandered down the path to the South Beach Club (4 out of the 5 nights of our stay). The venue, drinks, food and service were fantastic every night.
Venue: is an open restaurant and bar with canvas roof and beautiful views to the beach. Great for watching the sunset and moon rise. There are lounges down on the beach perfect for a pre-dinner drink or two, with your toes in the sand.
Bar: served fantatic mojitos, caprioskas and sangria (I'm sure everything else is great too, but we stuck to our favourites).
Food: was fantastic. My husband had the langostinos 4 nights in a row, but everything we tried was excellent.
Service: the staff were friendly and very willing try to manage our limited Spanish and difficult to understand Australian accents.
We were there in mid-Sept and the restaurant was fairly quiet most nights (max 6 other tables).
This was by far the best restaurant we dined in during our 7 week holiday in Spain.
