Dear Silavadee Team,

again after 2013 we had a great 6 day stay in your lovely Hotel. The rooms, your restaurant, your new pool, the new roof top bar, of course the beach and your staff are fantastic. Special thanks to Chai, once again your Mai Tai s and talks made our stay something speacial. Last year on the beach and this year on the pool bar. Hope to see all of you guys again next year.

Best greetings from Germany Tobi & Nicci

We have just come back from 2 weeks in Thailand. A couple of nights in Bangkok then onto Koh Samui. This island is superb & a must see. We stayed at silavadee pool spa resort which is located between lamai & chaeweng. Perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Staff were always smiling & couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and cleaned every day with fresh towels & bed linen. Pool towels are provided as well as a beach bag. Which is a lovely touch. This resort was truly paradise with a private beach, only thing is that this area is not cleaned as much as it could be but is not a problem. Pool areas are superb & so quiet. We would definitely recommend this resort!! We are already looking at going back next year cos it was that good. Loads more to see on koh samui & other islands. Superb

I love when a place is generous with their services and Silavadee is one such resort. Staffs were attentive and we even got a free upgrade which came really as a pleasant surprise to both me and my partner. Our sea facing villa with its wooden interiors and canopy bed were charming while the infinity pool facing the ocean, breathtaking. A truly wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate.

The one and only set back was the food.(possibly cause I love my food) Buffet spread offers a rather limited variety with the classic breakfast of scramble eggs, bacons and sausages coming off a tad dry each time. Cocktails aren't done very well also leaving classic poolside treats like the mojitos and the pina colada, a little flat. Thai food at its in-house restaurant also fell short in terms of taste and textures. It could be also cause the hotel caters to a large number of westerners hence familiar jolts of spiciness and that classic hint of sourness and aromas weren't present in the dishes. There were made for a more generic palette in my opinion.

So, If you don't live to eat, this resort is definitely splendid and do yourself a favour - wake up at 6am and go catch the sunrise at the open deck. As much as my eyes were burning, that scene was priceless and definitely, instagram worthy!

Room Tip: Book villas on a higher ground as the view is incredible.

What a fantastic place!
When me and my partner arrived we where greeted by hotel staff along with a cool cloth and a nice cold iced tea (which felt like the best thing on the world after all that traveling)
The staff where very polite and efficient. They took us for a tour around the resort using the golf carts which can be very fast! Hold on!
They have two infinity pools, spa, gym and a private beach!!
The room we had was amazing, very spacious, the bed was huge and unbelievably comfortable. The room also has a beautiful bathroom with his and her sinks, shower and bath! All beautifully decorated :)
Each of the infinity pools have bars, again with amazing staff!
The beach also has it's own bar and toilets.
I would recommend this resort to anyone! It felt like paradise!

My friend and I had a great experience at Silavadee. It's a beautiful resort with breathtaking pools and a private beach that will make it difficult for you to leave and explore the rest of the island. The staff is warm and welcoming, kind and helpful. We had an issue with our bill, but it was quickly resolved after we brought it up to them. The food is also excellent; we ended up trying both restaurants for dinner and had breakfast at the hotel every day. A few minor critiques: The hotel is pretty secluded without much within walking distance (which is both good and bad) and its free shuttles to town are not frequent (they also leave right on time without much leeway). And I should note that cabs to and from the resort are expensive. I was also turned off by the large air conditioning units right outside our room (on the second floor), but in all honesty, they didn't bother us once we were in the room. Overall, a lovely place for a relaxing getaway.

Silvadee is almost an Eco resort type place, all the 5star luxuries set in an unspoilt hillside of Samui. Everything was wonderful, the staff very friendly and always eager to please, such a lovely place to stay and relax. Thank you every one for making my stay so lovely. I look forward to returning!!
