The free transfer from Samui airport was good. A nice luxury mini-van. The bungalow (207) was initially not so good. Two beds instead of double, which the friendly staff promptly rectified. The air conditioner didn't work very well, and we discovered that the toilet didn't flush properly.
We told them about the toilet, and we're promptly moved/upgraded to 107, which was a much better room with sea views and a front veranda. The bed was hard, but that seems common in Thailand.
The staff was very helpful, arranging a tour and airport transfers with no fuss and cheaper than we expected
Happy "hour" from about middy to 7pm with cocktails for 90B, which was good. Right on the beach, and probably in one of the best spots on Lamai Beach. The beach here is nice, few rocks, very calm, nice sand.
The hotel is also very centrally located with most of the main Lamai beach restaurant and shopping area. The Sunday night "walking street" markets are about 60m from the front of the hotel. Lots of shopping, street food and 50B cocktails.
We did not use the hotel massage place on the beach, so I don't know what it is like.
We had the Friday night seafood BBQ at the hotel which was nice. Choose what seafood you want from the display on the beach and they cook it for you. The restaurant tables are about 2-3m from the sand.More
