The hotel is on a quite beach of Samui- LAMAI. We didnt want to stay in the cheeweng beach because is very common and noizy. The rockey is different. The privet beach (even it is samll but high quality ) give you relaxtion and peace.
From hotel to Lamai city is 10 min by taxi (around 200 bht) and to Chaweeng its 15-20 min by taxi (500 bth). The hotel send free transportation few times a day to Lamai and Chaweeng.
You can order pick up from and to airport by the hotel. the price is lower than the airport itself !
The hotel hold a private boot - Josephine. I recommend highly to take a day tour at the sea. you will not forget it!
the hotel is very special, clean and has a warm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. with a big smile try to help you and give you the best vacation ever.
What can I say- I am travel agent mote than 20 years. I have travel a lot. I have never been in a special place like this !!! recommended !

Room Tip: If you like ocean view choose for the front villa. To get up in the morrning and all the ocean is in...

From the moment we arrived to the second we left the whole experience was seamless. We were met at the airport in an air conditioned taxi and brought to Rocky's where we were welcomed by lovely smiles, fruit drinks and cold towels. Our luggage was whisked away to our room and even though check in was not for another 4 hours our room was ready straight away. And what a lovely room. We had the three bed apartment with splash pool ( we have 3 teenagers) spotlessly clean, fresh flowers decorating the beds and bathrooms, complimentary fruit basket and drinking water.
The resort has two restaurants one serving gorgeous thai food, our dinning experience there made all the better by Jack who was so helpful and chatty. The main restaurant was beautiful looking out over the bay and Ton who served us breakfast most mornings always had a smile and a joke for us. We took advantage of the hotels island tour. Suryian our driver was very knowledgeable and took us to all the places we that we chose to go and showed us many little details that we would have failed to notice without him. The whole of the resort is so beautifully cared for, the pool the gardens and the beach. We were cared for by the lovely Sa who took such good care of our holiday home and made us so comfortable. I would definitely recommend Rockys to anyone visiting samui as you are made to feel so special and comfortable. Many thanks to Martin and his team who are doing such an incredible job of making sure you have the best holiday ever.

Rockys is a great, not so big, resort slightly south of Lamai Beach. It has no real swimming beach to talk of, but the sand and the two pools are amazing. If you want the beach, Lamai is great and just a 5 minute ride up the road. Take a day at the beach and eat at some of the little restaurants on the beach, where they have their own beach areas (chairs, tables etc). The prices are cheap and it is all good. Just a short stroll to all the shopping you would want.

Rockys staff are great, all great. No need to mention them by name except magnificent Polly who tended our table at the restaurant when lots of staff were off sick. She coped really well and deserves a gold star.

Food is good and reasonably priced. A few restaurants within walking distance for a local change.

Walked a road adjacent to the resort that took us up the huge hill. Great views from there but very steep. Wear runners with grip, but do it if you are reasonably fit.

Room Tip: All rooms looked good to us. There were 31 of us there for a wedding, and all rooms were well locate...

Noticed this hidden place while visiting the temple and walking down the beach. We then went there just to have a drink before the sunset. This place, the service, the vegetation, the decoration, and the location-isolated cove- are just unique! We had a wonderful moment here and I would definitely recommend to go there, even just for a drink if we can't afford staying here.

The resort really is in a stunning location, beautiful, well appointed, but most importantly the staff's professionalism and eagerness to make your stay as comfortable as possible set the place apart.

We stayed just three nights, sadly, but loved every minute of our time. The outdoor massage at the waters edge is not to be missed, and the food will make you wonder if you need to leave the resort at all!

The only small downside is the quality of the swim isn't great because of rocks in the water, but there is enough space at high tide where this isn't a big issue and the two pools more than make up for it!

We had an amazing stay at rockys, got to know tye etsff who are just amazing. Its the small things that differentiate rockys to other resorts, the service by the pool, the friendly gestures, and the honest advise when you ask them questions. The rooms are just perfect, along with the food and bars. Prices are not unreasonable, you pay a little more than outside but the quality is worthvit. I will definitely be back!

Very good 14 night stay.
Upon arrival we were upgraded to a Junior Ocean View Suite which was fantastic, very spacious, huge bed and wonderful walk in shower in the bathroom.

As we arrived around 10.30/11pm we were delighted to be welcomed by a large fruit display and a bottle of sparkling wine.

The gardens are fantastic and lovingly cared for.

The staff are first class and service is great in every area from cleaning ladies to bar staff.

Wide choice for breakfast and something for every palate. My wife enjoyed squeezing the oranges every morning for her juice!

The Al a carte menu was expansive and the food really good although expensive by Samui standards. Despite this it still represented good value for money. The food on the event nights was very good, the Thai buffet was especially good.

We asked Lucas the Guest services manager for restaurant recommendations but he was reluctant to give any information which was a little sad but I guess he thought he was "protecting" the resorts interests. After 14 nights I found him very repetitive and a contributory factor for the rating of the hotel has to be his rather shameless plea's for every guest to go on Trip Advisor and praise the resort. It isn't necessary. The resort says it all IMO.

We also ate out on several occasions and the food was very good and very cheap.

An excellent bonus was the continuos supply of iced water by the pool plus the fruit skewers.

The massages by the sea were great although not particularly relaxing during but felt much better afterwards. The lady standing on me was certainly a surprise!

It was good there was such a strong mix of nationalities. Brits, French, Germans, Dutch, Chinese, Australians, Russians and many more.

Outside the hotel I loved Walking on Lamai Beach. Chaweng is much bigger but dominated by the hotels that back on to the beach. It is livelier, but that isn't everyone's preference. Elephant trekking was a fun day and a visit to the Big Buddha was very enjoyable

Overall we loved Koh Samui, the people and the resort.

Any questions please feel free to ask

Room Tip: Our room, 901, wasn't overlooked and very private. Seen some say those close to the garden pool...

Thank you We are really happy that you enjoyed your stay. Regarding Lucas, he is a guy that really cares and wants to make sure that you have the very best experience here. Local restaurants are very inconsistent with their quality, hence Lucas's reluctance to recommend one in case your experience was not what you wanted.
