Perfect resort. We stayed in a villa, try and get Villa 2406 which overlooks the pool and sea. Room was perfect, staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and situated next to the pool with views of the ocean. Ate dinner a few times and all meals were really good. Can't say enough about the staff, what little workers they are! Location is perfect, walking distance to everything was easy. We preferred Lamai to Chaweng, it has more atmosphere and not as noisy. Lots of eating choices close by.
Would return in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Villa 2406 best

We stayed here for 6 nights over the Christmas period. Our rooms were the deluxe garden rooms, which were perfect, large and well equipped, with a roomy bathroom with bath and walk in wet room with rainwater shower. We had tv, dvd( a selection available at reception to borrow as well as books). The restaurant never failed to give excellent meals, cooked to individual taste preferences, the best massaman curries ever! The garden was a delight, as was the pool. Staff were lovely and went to great efforts to make christmas special. Every evening we were treated to the lovely George, who serenaded us with his accoustic guitar and very good singing. Both my husband, grandaughter and I fealt the benifit from thai massages on site.

Room Tip: I can recommend the ground floor deluxe garden rooms, you have a private outdoor space as well as a...

This hotel is tucked on a quite side-street in the center of Lamai. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is beachfront. We selected a seaview room and ended up with one on the second floor. I suspect that the third floor rooms have a much better 'seaview", but we were able to see a bit of the ocean from our room so I can't complain. The room was nice with the exception being we could hardly get any hot water for showers. If we were lucky we had about one minute of hot water, sometimes we had none. A buffet breakfast was included in the room price and was a great way to start the day. The pool area is small with about 12 loungers. We selected the beachfront loungers and umbrellas and were able to get one every day without having to get down to the beach too early. The best part of the hotel is its location. In less than a minute you are on the main street where the shops, restuarants and bars are located. I agree with other reviewers that the front desk staff while nice, sort of made us feel as if we were bothering them most of the time. They did their job, but without much enthusisam.

Room Tip: If you request a seaview room try to get one on the third floor.

Surprisingly chic, tasteful boutique small resort right on the beach. A great value for what you get. Arguably the best location in Lamai. Only downside was the staff falls short of the "Thai nice" stereotype-- although they're helpful enough, they're a bit surly. (But that seemed to be true of most places we went on Ko Samui). Hotel restaurant is fine but not great. The infinity pool, amazing beachfront, and well appointed room, however, put this a far step above the other hotels along that strip-- especially for the price.

Room Tip: Only rooms with an ocean view are on the 3rd floor; the detached bungalows all have views of a very...

Samui Jasmine Resort is very nice small resort - we spend 10 days here (November/December 2012) and it was very pleasant experience. It's located directly in the center of Lamai, however in side street so no noise from the bars and shops. At the same time it is located directly on the beach. Service was excellent, staff very friendly, food delicioius ( if you are travelling with small children, they offer also european non-spicy food, which is very good. For us it helped a lot since we have small son). Rooms are clean, garden is beautiful and also pool is very nice located on the beach. It's approx. 50 m from main shopping and eating street so everything is very close. At the recption there is always chice of fresh fruit for the guests, as well complimentary water in the room and staff is always ready to help you. It was exellent experience, highly recommend. :)))

Room Tip: We stayed in villa with jacuzzi - very nice spacious, quite. Based on reco we asked for the one whic...

My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights in October 2012. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the staff were exceptional. They were very efficient and friendly and always ready to look after you. This was from the reception staff right through to the housemaids. The resort is right on the beach, and the rooms are very modern and clean. We were celebrating our wedding anniversay so they decorated the bed and supplied us with a cake. This was a very nice touch. The meals were good, especially when they set up their restuarant on the beach. Their breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of food. I especially liked their fruit, which was very fresh. We had to leave early on our last day and they even gave us a take away breakfast. A very nice touch considering it was 4:30am in the morning.

If you tire from the food at the resort their are plenty of other places nearby to eat. There is such a varied and wide choice both on the beach and down the street. There are conveneience stores nearby, and plenty of laundries. The resort is conveneintly located near all the action in Lamai Beach.

We booked all our tours and rent a car through the resort, and this was very convenient and efficient, and allowed you to have all the tours charged through to your room. On our arrival we were advised that the hotel was having their 2012 Staff Party and that we were invited. This was a really nice touch, and all food and drinks were supplied free of charge. It was a fun night and we met all the staff. One of the housemaids Nong was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome. The gesture was greatly appreciated.

There was only one negative, and that was when we arrived we were advised that the pool had to be repaired due to maintenance. As we enjoy lazing around the pool, and don't want to swim in the ocean all the time, this was very disappointing. In the defence of the resort they could probably not do too much about it, but it would have been nice if they could have organised with another resort to use their pool.

We were given a meal voucher during our stay, and I am pretty sure this was because of the pool maintenance. On the whole a great stay and a very professionally run resort with excellent staff who always presented themselves in an efficient and professional manner.

Room Tip: We stayed in the top middle ocean deluxe room. This gives you a good view of the ocean and a glimpse...
