This hotel is perfectly situated just a few steps from the main Lamai walking/shopping area.

The hotel is clean, well looked after with lovely gardens and one of the cleanest pools I've ever seen (even though on the small side).

The room was very comfortable, with TV, DVD, tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar. Note that we stayed at Villa H, worth the extra money for the extra space and location nearer the pool and beach.
The mini bar drinks were very reasonably priced ( 25 - 35 Bahts for soft drinks and beer) and the room kept very clean.
Beach towels are provided and changed for you every day, along with a beach bag, a bathrobe and room slippers(in the Villas). The toiletries are also a welcome addition.

We always had available beach and pool sunbeds.
The guest population is varied, including Russians, Nordics, French, Dutch and English.

Breakfast is varied with a large variety of fruit, bread, cereals, juices, cooked options (eggs, sausages, bacon, etc), vegetables, cakes and local Thai dishes.
The menu and food for lunch and dinner at the restaurant was delicious and well presented with a reasonable price for a hotel restaurant (but a bit more expensive than eating outside).

The sea temperature in mid March was a very warm and delightful 32 degrees C!!

There are food and ice cream vendors on the beach (I recommend the delicious roasted corn on the cob, mango and pineapple from Mr Jack).
There are also some Thai ladies offering manicures and pedicures, clothes and ornaments sellers, but if you are not interested a plain and polite "no, thank you" is enough to refuse their services.
Thai people are very polite and will not really pester you for a sale.

In all, a very pleasant and lovely stay at this resort. Would recommend!

Room Tip: Villas worth the extra money for more space, nearer the pool and beach.

There was nothing that really wowed us here. After two weeks traveling in Thailand our first stop here in Koh Samui was rather average. Was welcomed with a drink and towel on arrival which was great but that is where the good service stopped. We stayed in a villa which was quite nice but the bed was rock hard. The room required a maintenance man to visit, and the bench in the room had not clearly not been cleaned properly (greasy marks, suspected either sunscreeny hands or mosquito repellant from the previous guest).
There were two staff that were friendly, both in the restaurant one male, one female- but a few others working in the restaurant seemed to ignore guests. The front desk staff annoyed me as a few times when I had to ask a few questions I didn't get the helpful feeling like I got in other resorts in Thailand - one time mid sentence speaking she stopped listening to my question to speak to another staff member for about a minute. Certainly not the kind of service we had received at about 8 other resorts through Thailand previously. The pool and beach were great and the massages there seemed quite inexpensive although too sunburnt to test it out. The food at the restaurant wasn't crash hot. - ate there a few times and it was mediocre at best - actually probably the worst we ate at (from a a hotel/resort) during our trip. Voted resort as average - definitely not poor but room for improvement we thought.

Stayed at this hotel for two weeks at the end of February. We stayed in the Thai House villa over looking the garden. Definately worth paying to stay at a hotel on the beach. Buffet breakfast was very good. Half price cocktails from 5pm to 7pm. (Strawberry Colada delicious). Quite a few families staying which was good as hotel we stayed at before was very nice but atttracted many single men who entertained many thai ladies. This hotel was really quiet.Only a short walk to the food market and lots of restaurants in Lamai. would recommend Eldorado restaurant just off the main road (shoe shop on the corner). Market food good, also the 2 italian restaurants and the swedish one.
Only 2 criticisms of the hotel. 1. There was not enough storage space for clothes. 2. There was a smell of drains outside our villla. We did not ask to move as we spent most of our time at the pool or beach or out sightseeing.
Would definately stay again.

Room Tip: Tahi house villa very good but not the one near the restaurant kitchen as smell of drains.

I am not usually into relaxing at the hotel but I did find myself chilling out at this one.

From the check in to check out - the staff were great. I enjoyed the food, the pool and beach, and the location.
