I stayed here for 1 day in November 2013.

The hotel was very good value for money at 700 bht a night for a king sized bed – no breakfast.

Just on the corner of the main road it is a 10 minute or so walk to the main street and beach. The room was dark with little natural light. The outside looks impressive. It is difficult as the place is so cheap. It looks rather old fashioned but it does have good facilities. The room is large enough moderately attractive with a good effective air conditioning system. It had a large 24 inch (estimated) old fashioned tube TV (many channels incl. some English) , a room safe and fridge are also provided. It boats a good sized bathroom with standard fixtures and a shower with plenty of hot water. Free water, shower gel and hair conditioner.

Wifi works well and is free.

Overall I was pleased with my stay and would recommend the hotel and stay there again for a short stay. It also has a swimming pool. The value for money is impressive.

I stated here for 6 nights in Middle May. The hotel was great for the price. The pool and gardens were good. The staff were very friendly (almost too friendly) and the rooms were clean. I had one of the rooms without windows and while it was dark, if you are only there to sleep it's fine. There was English channels on the TV the internet was very fast and the aircon all good. Away from the main street by about 4 mins walk it was quiet and comfortable. Recommend anyone on a budget to stay.

Location, restaurant, pool, rooms, breakfast - all 10/10. A short walk to anything you'll ever need such as ATM, shopping (clothes), restaurants, thebeach, laundry, scooter hire etc and the area is fantastic! The people are so friendly! Would definately recommend.

Their studio rooms don't have windows or any kind of ventilation system and apparently they use some kind of chemical to keep insects out of the rooms. Because of that, our studio room had an unpleasant, stuffy odor and my guess is that other studio rooms probably have similar issues. The room was otherwise clean with a working AC. The TV didn't work but we weren't there to watch TV anyway. The bathroom was also clean and everything was functioning properly.

The hotel itself is very good with nice pleasant surroundings and a relatively quiet atmosphere since it's slightly off the main road. It's just a ten minutes walk to the market area with shops, restaurants, and massage parlors. The beach is also a short walk away. The hotel has a nice pool area. Lower level rooms facing the pool have "open balconies" that give direct access to the pool area. Top level rooms facing the pool area also seemed like a nice choice especially because I think they provide a nice view of the ocean/beach. Lots of stairs to climb, though, as I didn't see any elevators. Our room didn't have a telephone to call the reception and I had to climb upstairs every time I needed to speak with the staff. I think other room types probably have phones because room service is listed as a feature of this hotel. They do have free Wi-Fi internet in all rooms. Though I never used it so can't say if it's fast or slow.

Room Tip: If you decide to book here, get their deluxe rooms with pool or sea view.

I had a sea view room booked for 1 week which overlooks the garden/pool area and the nearby ocean.

The balcony is wide and comfortable with a great panoramic view of the surrounding area heading towards the ocean.

The room was simple yet comfortable, light, clean and exactly what I was looking for.

Getting to and from the beach, be it on foot or motorbike, was a breeze and everything you need is within 100 metres of the hotel. Laundries, massage, restaurants, shops, 7/11's, ATM's, you name it, it's all there.

The pool and garden area are clean and quite tranquil with a small bar area at one end. The pool was not heavily chlorinated and a very pleasant temperature no matter what hour of the day or night, although it would be good if the pool was open later than 8pm.

The hotel restaurant is clean and the breakfast is simple yet filling. If you lose your vouchers for breakfast (as i did) just tell them your room number and all is well. Needless to say those vouchers turned up in a pocket when I was unpacking at home after the vacation!

The cleaning staff are a little over enthusiastic to clean the rooms, and knock on your door at about 8am (depending on your location within the hotel) but they are happy enough to be told to come back later. One suggestion for them would be to make less noise in the hallways!

Reception staff were great, thank you Gun, and able to assist with all enquiries about things to do, etc. Cheap motorcycle rental from the hotel was great too.

There is a wide range of activities available in the nearby streets and it was a pleasant surprise to discover the local Muay Thai boxing school between the hotel and the beach which made for some great viewing. Theat juice bar/restaurant directly opposite the Muay Thai school is a bonus, as is the well equipped gym next door to the juice bar.

There is a night market in town and a weekly larger night market selling all the common oddments you find at Thai markets, alongside some great food stalls.

The muay thai ring in the centre of the "nightlife" area is great to go and watch some boxing. The highlight for me was watching the girlsl from the surrounding bars go at it in the ring with girls from "opposing" bars. The noise from the surrounding bars was cacophonous!

Overall, a great hotel at which I would definitely stay again.

Location on a sweeping bend in the road isn't ideal but you can simply enter and exit from the back.

I stayed here in September with a few friends and we all had the sea view rooms with balcony. They were definitely worth the extra money. They were clean and spacious and great value for money. The pool was great, a perfect temperature and I spent most of my week there.
The food was good too, the only downside being that the restaurant was not opened for all of the advertised hours. There are plenty of places nearby however.
All in all I'd recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights and payed a little extra for the sea view unfortunately forgot my binoculars. The pool area was clean and modern but they decided to empty and refill it over the whole our second day (surely overnight would be the time to do this) The water pressure was weak and the sink blocked easy oh and the satellite tv consisted of 9 channels of which 1 was almost watchable they sent 2 guys that changed the ariel lead and flicked thru the channels for a bit then another guy came who spoke english and decided it was the weather (now before u call me sad I dont come abroad to watch tv but its nice to fill the time while the missus gets ready) all in all average hotel basic breakfast included 10 min walk from beach an same from the main drag £40 a night a bit much
