We paid very little for this basic hotel located at the historical site. The rooms are very basic with ok beds and a bathroom (hot water not always available), AND mosquito nets behind the windows. That is a plus given the lack of airco and warm/moist environment in summer.
- Included in the price is parking and access to the site which saves you half of the costs. The breakfast was very basic.
- Staying in the hotel makes it easy to walk around the site (which takes you 2-3hrs max) at night which makes it more eerie, I can imagine this is especially cool for kids.
- Btw, if you decide to travel south by car and follow your car-navigation, be sure to avoid the dirt road south of the site. Although enjoying encounters with numerous deer and other animals along the 5km journey, your car runs the risk of breaking down given the condition of the road.
