Because we live nearby, we visit this traditional taverna through all the seasons. In summer there's a wide variety of dishes - fresh fish, super T-Bone steaks, delicious salads and mezes, eaten directly on the waterfront so you can see the little fish in the water while you wait for the big one to arrive on your plate.
In winter it's completely different: at lunchtime it may be sunny and warm enough to sit outside, in the evening it's cosy indoors in front of the open fire. And you will be offered whatever is ready today. It might be a piece of stewed octopus that Giorgo caught this afternoon or a portion of pastitio that was made for the family and any customers. It will always be tasty!
Whatever the occasion, busy or quiet, the welcome will be warm and genuine - Papa Giorgo, his wife Katerina and their son, Babis are the best hosts imaginable.
