We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in August 2013 (family of four). The service and the food were excellent - plenty of choice - loved the option of being able to dine at the al a carte during our stay. The rooms were spacious and of a good standard and the view over the bay was delightful.
Entertainment team worked extremely hard and were very friendly always having time to chat and catered for all ages if you wanted to join in.
All staff from the management to the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a quite location but within 10 minutes you can be in Rhodes Town or Faliraki by taxi or the local bus. Had a great holiday and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

My husband and I have stayed ast this hotel three times over the past couple of years and it never fails to disappoint. All staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is of a good quality and there is plenty of choice. Views from our lovely room were beautiful. We will be returning again hopefully soon .. so I guess that speaks for itself.

Arrived very late Saturday night- greeted by a very friendly receptionist who immediately offered us a drink (she could probably tell we'd been travelling all day!)
Given a 3rd floor sea view room... Beautiful! As pristine and perfect as pictures would suggest, immaculately clean and a beautiful view.
Food was actually very tasty, great variety and changed every day lunch and evening. Only saw 1 or 2 dishes twice in ten days, but seeing as they were delicious that wasn't a problem. Drinks were perfectly fine, on all inclusive obviously not premium brands but all very satisfying an tasty. Pool area was always clean, and getting a bed never a problem. Seawater pool was obviously cold, but in the 28+ heat was a welcome relief, and again was crystal clear and clean. Staff could not have been more pleasant, all friendly and helpful, and a special mention is needed for the animation team who even at this late stage in the season still made such a great effort. For what we paid and compared to a more expensive stay in Egypt last year, the Eden roc went above and beyond out expectations. Would gladly go back in the future!

The service and the food at the hotel were great. The staff was very professional and personal. The bar was perfect.
My wife and I got on very well and we will certainly be returning to Eden Roc several times. We particularly appreciated how the staff helped us when I became ill and needed to quickly consult a doctor

Room Tip: Choose a room with sea view.

Me and my sister wanted a simple, all inclusive holiday. We searched high and low and found thompsons hotels. This hotel was rated highly. I wouldn't put it that way.
On arrival we were fairly impressed, our room was big, the bathroom pretty basic but clean. We weren't so impressed with the view. We could see the sea and the pool but we were directly facing the 'amphitheater' and just above the bar. We were fairly tired the first night so hardly heard any noise. The next nights can't say the same. Loud 'entertainment'. Not what you want from a relaxing holiday.
Next morning we woke up fairly early. Had breakfast - weren't too impressed, not much flavour. Went to find a bed. There were none. They were all taken. When we thought we had found some we were abruptly called thieves by some rather large Russians and moved along. We decided to sit under the only umbrella we could find only to have the 'animators' tell us that we were in their spot. We complained to reception who didn't overly take our complaints very seriously but they did find us some beds.
A few tips because I could complain and complain about this place. Don't stay by the larger pool if you want to relax and read your book. Loud music is played all day. Get to dinner first and find a table. It is as many other review have said madness.
Oh and the maids don't always clean your room by the time you want to go and get ready for dinner. So beware.
