This is a really well equipped villa with superb air con and pool, not to mention the view ( it was good enough for a palace to be sited just above it). Julia wilbattend to your every need: we asked for an inflatable for my little girl to use in the pool and she left us four or five and a pump! A few groceries for our arrival turned into a well stocked fridge and a delicious home cooked meal for us to heat up. An enquiry about use of the barbecue led to Julia arriving with a sack of charcoal the same day!
The location is fantastic, right on bus route 10 to Corfu town and handy for the main roads across the island. Gastouri has two good tavernas with excellent local dishes and they make you feel really welcome. Good supermarkets are minutes away but this is a truly authentic Greek village and we loved it.
Thee are oodles of books and dvds plus Netflix to keep all entertained and various patios and outdoor areas to relax.
The cats really aren’t a problem, they can take a hint! They also keep the local wildlife at bay.
I can’t think how a hiliday on Corfu could be better. My wife wants to sell up and move to Villa Pascalia!
This is a nice comfortable villa with a gorgeous pool, but downside for us was the cats, if you don't like cats do not come here, they are everywhere. There are loads of them, they were crawling all over the table outside so we could not enjoy a meal alfresco, they crawled on the BBQ licking it when it was cold for the sent of meat, they poo on the terrace outside the door, it was disgusting, ruined our experience of this villa. More should be done to encourage tourists not to feed them, they are ferral and do not need to be fed by people, if left alone they can fend for themselves, when fed by people they loose they hunting instincts. Overall it's a nice villa but we would not return.
