We stayed here when the weather was unseasonably warm. Beautiful views from our fjord view suite, Amazing room, including glass wall to bathroom so you can lay in the bath and still see the view (has a curtain for privacy if you don't). Wonderful swimming pool, with infinity at one end of the "lane". Plenty of seating areas inside and outside, with blankets to use if needed. Space for everyone to do their own thing. Such a calm and peaceful setting - allows you to unwind and regenerate.
Food is buffet style. Breakfast buffet was very copious and plenty to suit everyone. Evening menu - I liked the "starter" type items, including masses of fresh fish such as crayfish and prawns and salmon.
The main was the issue - about 6-8 options, but all were barely warm, with the standard veg of boiled potatoes, cauli and broccoli every night. The meat was perfectly cooked but not hot enough. This was the only thing that let the hotel down.
Range of dessert options to suit everyone.
Thanks to the harpist who accompanied breakfast and evening buffets, and to Christine, Nicolas and Nanna who were especially helpful and attentive members of staff. We would definitely go back!More
