We only had an overnight stay here but both the hotel and the town are worthy of a longer visit. The staff were helpful and friendly organising parking for me right outside the hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and overlooked the garden and pool. We didn't eat in the hotel so I can't comment on that aspect of what is provided. The hotel provided us with a guide to various attractions in the town and we visited the Museum where the Roman remains are well worth seeing. Certainly our brief visit didn't give us time to do all that the town has to offer. Without doubt I can recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceja.

We stayed for one night on a road trip. It was easy to find and the receptionist was most helpful. The room was clean and a good size. The hallways are rather dark with modern funky lighting and decoration. The pool is smaller than it looks on the photos. We visited an amazing little restaurant in one of the main plazas, Meson Casa Emilio, which had excellent food. We stayed on a Sunday night, so all the shops were closed and the town appeared very sleepy. It was all awake the following morning! The only disappointing part of the stay was that the Hotel restaurant was not open on the Sunday night and the breakfast seemed to be prepared by the receptionist from the following day, who was working hard to do everything. Do be aware that if you have breakfast everything you have is charged separately although there is no menu and no warning of this!

This hotel is ideally located near the historic centre with parks, palacios (mansions), the 20 or so churches, convents, museums and narrow winding streets.
I think if you were able-bodied my only comments would be that it provides all the services one would expect of a 4 star hotel with very friendly, helpful staff; I feel the reception and area could be better lit and that if the bar menu was priced at the same rate as local bars and the restaurant at the same price as local restaurants they would be busy and generating income all year round, not just in Holy Week.
As a disabled guest, I was able to go round the hotel on my own as the automatic door could detect me in my wheelchair. The lifts were comfortable and I didn't need anyone else to operate them. The door opening mechanism to my room was simple. The sun lounge and swimming pool were on the flat, but there was no lift into the pool. The changing rooms were not accessible.
My room itself was spacious and the bed was at wheelchair height, for easy transfers. There was a soft mattress cover to prevent bed sores.
The bathroom was also spacious - great for wheelchair manoeuvring but unfortunately lacked grab rails in the wet-room area; the seat could have been closer to the shower head; so showering was very tricky and verging on the dangerous. Given the amount of money spent on the hotel, it would have been worthwhile had the designer been informed of a paraplegic's needs. A small wash basin just by the toilet, a bidet at a higher height with grab rails, a shower curtain across where the toilet is, to prevent one's wheelchair from getting wet from the shower, and drop down grab rails and vertical grab rails to help guests stand to shower or to transfer into their wheelchair.
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and were so discrete when I had a minor problem.

Room Tip: Choose a room that doesn't get afternoon sun as Écija is known as the frying pan of Spain!

Stayed here last week with friends, our second visit and their first. Again a wonderful stay. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room. The rooms are very well appointed with modern decor and fittings. The cleanliness is second to none. We had dinner in the restaurant and although the chef was off as it was a quiet Monday, the lady owner cooked us a wonderful meal. When I asked how she got the aubergines so delicious and crispy she told us the recipe and even gave me a bag of the flour she used and offered to show us in her own kitchen how they were done! Unfortunately we could not take up this offer as we were only staying one night on our tour. Unlike some reviews we found the breakfast more than adequate and were asked if we wanted anything cooked and took up,this offer with a selection of freshly cooked eggs and bacon. We are well travelled in Spain and this is one of the best for a very reasonable price.

We had a great time at Infanta Leonor in Esija. The hotel is new and is 4 star but has the quality of a 5-star one. The suites are superb, the service outstanding and the food at the restaurant among the tastiest one I have ever had in Spain,

Room Tip: Go for Marrakesh or any of the suites - they are superb

Great hotel with superb staff and owners. Refreshing modern design, spacious and spotless clean rooms. The restaurant, El Duke, served delicious food, the best we had in Spain so far. You must try the fried eggplant and the goat cheese pastries, they're wonderful!
The attentive staff will do everything to comfort you, they even bought a Peppa Pig for our daughter as a present!
We will come back!

We were looking for a place to chill out for a week after visiting Granada and Cordoba. The Infanta Leonor could not have fit the bill better. Spotlessly clean, huge and comfy bed, balcony, great rooftop bar (opens on Saturdays and Sundays) and a perfect combination of style and comfort.

This is a family run hotel and the people really care about the service and providing everything you need. When we decided on a midnight swim in the pool the lights were put on for us and we were given drinks to warm us up afterwards. Nothing was too much trouble but it is also all done with huge smiles - not too formal like some hotels. I don't normally go for such modern hotels but this one has made me think again!

The pool and garden area is a haven with sun all day, shade when you need it and drinks, tapas and meals all available by the pool. Again, it is all spotlessly clean.

If you are visiting the area (Seville is not far away also) we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for a break from the hectic cities. Ecija itself is packed with historical buildings of interest but they serve as a backdrop rather than a 'must see'.

After a stressful year we really needed this break and the Infanta Leonor was so perfect that I cried when we left.

Room Tip: The hotel is happy to show you a range of the rooms available so you can choose when you are there.
