We visited the hippy market at Las Dalias when it opened at 10, parking was €3 right next to the market. The market was spread over a bigger area than first appeared and was fairly quiet (probably not so later in the day and in peak season), however there were mainly jewellery stalls selling all the bright colours and all very similar, only took us about half hour to walk around and not as good as we thought it was going to be, maybe bigger Es Cana might be better.

We took a trip on the boat taxis from Cala LLonga to the Hippy Market which was an experience in itself. It cost around 16 Euros each for a return which we thought was reasonable as you see beautiful views on the way. It takes about 45 mins to get there and the boat was a little rocky at times but we arrived start of season. The Hippy Market was about 10 minuites from where we got dropped off and the boats were quite regular. We knew instantly once we arrived we were at hte Hippy Market (although we did follow the croud to get there/you cant really get lost though) There was loads of people as expected and at times it was hard to get to the stalls. If youre into this sort of thing (as I am) this trip is a definate must but otherwise alot of the stalls are quite the same and you can buy alot of the same goods in other shops around IBIZA without battling through crouds of people. We enjoyed the trip for the experience and enjoyed the street acts that were at the Hippy Market.

We'd been advised to go to the market but were not going to bother. I'm so glad we did.

It was a lot larger than we thought with a good selection of different stalls. We saw similar items for sale in Es Canar and Saint Eulalia at a much much higher price.

We went later on in the afternoon to avoid the heat and seem to have missed all the crowds, however it was only April so perhaps it wouldn't have been busy at all.

I'd visit again and take more money as there was an awful lot of stuff I wanted to buy.

Been twice, the first time we went was as a booked excursion, it felt as though we were being rushed, , and we didn't even get round half of it, before we were told we had to get back on the coach. The place was very hot and very crowded. The second time we went we made our own way there, this time it was better, got there early and took our time looking round, yes everything is over priced but you have to barter and get the prices down. I have to be honest i would not go again, but i had to see it for myself .If you plan to go try and make your own way there that way you can get there early, stay or leave when you want. So happy bartering.

I'd heard about the market and decided it was worth a visit. I was warned off because of the crowds and they weren't wrong. At places it was so busy you actually couldn't move and people were resorting to shoving each other out of the way. Not so much fun in 30 degree heat. The pluses are it's definitely got its fair share of characters and interest. The stalls seemed quite full of the same old quirky nonsense at high prices but there were a few interesting, good value items to be found. Well worth a look for its quirks and free entry if you can put up with the crowds but if slowly shuffling along in the heat isn't your thing then stay clear and enjoy the slightly quieter beaches while everyone else streams in here.
