Perfect holidays

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 19 May 2017
We spend a very good moment in this hotel which is wonderful. The room was very comfortable with a perfect sea view (beautiful sunset..). Everything was here to have a marvelous stay.
Then, the catering (breakfast and dinner) was very good and of course, the team was very friendly and available !!
I recommend this hotel to couples or friends who want to relax.

Notes Therme and Spa was simply perfect for me and my husband to spend a week in beautiful Santorini. Located on the south of the Island in Vlychada on the coast and next to the marina it was perfect for us.
When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink and an overview of the island with some very helpful tips.
We were then shown to our room which over looked the pool, marina and Aegean Sea. Our room was beautifully decorated with a lovely seating area outside each room.
We did decide shortly after arriving that it would be best for us to hire a car to be able to tour around the island which the staff sorted out straightaway.
Breakfast pretty much covered a small selection everything you could think of and the waiting staff were just so polite and helpful.
All the staff at Notos were helpful, informative and nothing was too much for them. I would highly recommend this hotel, its clean, well maintained, great food, relaxing and most of all the excellent staff.

We stayed a week and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the staff.

The only downsides were the breakfast buffet with was adequate but nothing more and our personal pool was quite cold.

Other than that if any issues arose they were dealt with quickly and we were very touched by the concerns the staff had for us on a personal level.

Yes, the hotel is away from the usual tourist areas but the quality of the hotel makes up for this.

This was our first trip to Greece and it will not be our last, Vychada late in the season was absolutely perfect for us - a relaxing break with gorgeous weather, spectacular scenery, amazing food and warm welcoming people. We loved every minute and it was over far too soon the staff at the hotel were wonderful and extremely helpful. Breakfast was lovely especially the Greek yogurt and fruits, apart from the included 3 course evening meal on one night of our stay we didnt eat in the hotel as we were out and about exploring - this meal was nice but I personally would have like something more traditional and maybe an alternative option. The beach was lovely but it was a bit of a shocker on the first morning stroll to discover it was also popular with naturists and nudist but hey ho live and let live. One of the highlights for us was the hotel manager suggested hiring a quad this was brilliant we traveled the length and breadth of Santorini and had a truley amazing time... we will most definately be back. Places to eat Vlychada Family Taverna amazing Saganaki and beef/tomato stew, Tavern Limanaki - the tables over looking the beech at sunset are amazing great local wine lovely meze and Mousakka and the host is extremely friendly. And our most favorite was the Poseidon Taverna in Perissa so friendly and fabulous food - Yamas. Needless to say I want to move to Santorini anyone have a job for an experienced holistic therapist whose husband is a fantastic singer/songwriter/musician just give me a shout bed and board we have a deal.

The hotel and staff are superb. On arrival we were offered a welcome drink and Alexandra gave us a rundown on the island and the best places to visit. We were upgraded from a junior to senior suite which was brilliant, we had a room which gave us a magnificent view of the sunsets every night. There was a minor problem with water coming up through the floor which we informed the staff about, as soon as another room became available we were upgraded again to their best room with its own plunge pool. My wife and I had birthdays during our stay and the hotel provided cakes on both occasions. Tremendous service, wonderful hotel, location and facilities.

Me and my wife had a most fantastic experience staying at Notos Therme & Spa on Santorini. Everything was truly more than we expected. Wonderful staff, rooms, service and pools with fresh clean natural water. A great spa built into the mountain, with spa treatments included in room cost, every day. Fantastic Sea View and sun sets from the private terrace. Very nice and helpful staff. As we see it right now, this was the best holiday experience we have had, and we have been married for more than 40 years;).
    HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!

Room tip: Ask for Sea View and a Junior Suit was worth the few extra Euros.
