We're coming to end of our stay here. It is a fantastic three star hotel. Ignore the previous winging submissions as they will from people that are either incapable of chosing the right hotel for themselves or the sort of people that sadly are never happy, come what may.
The reception is welcoming and the staff great when you arrive. The rooms are really tidy and perfect for the star rating of the hotel. Fridge in room and small kitchen area. No kettle but we just brought coffees and teas back from the bar. There are steps about resort, but for every route with steps there is another without them. So if you are a wheelchair user or have a pram you'll be fine here. There is a central lift to the restaurant etc as well. The complex layout is good. Yes there is a bit of noise from the pool area but remember 99% coming here are families coming for fun. There is a nice mix of people and nationalities. The resort is very secluded but one would think you would know this when you booked it. I did. It's less than 2 quid by bus to Mahon and a taxi is approx 15 quid one way. It's a semi remote family holiday destination!
Yes the cleaning staff clean the rooms every day except Tuesdays and Sundays. If that serious impares your holiday, try another venue. There is a charge for the safes and we didn't bother and left everything in a case all the time with no bother.
There is a shop on the complex and I thought it was well priced.
Drinks and food are good. There is a great choice every night with all sorts of different foods from steaks to pizza. Every night there was amazing fish and occasionally prawns and langostines. Food ticked the box for all the family and the salads are fantastic.
Only minor downside is the deckchairs. They do seem to be heavily reserved with towels. I accidentally woke at 6:20 on the third day and wondered how many were already reserved at this time. I ventured out with my towels, determined not to be beaten by them. It was like a Germanic version of the movie Evil Dead as everyone scrapped their way bleary eyed towards the pool with their towels. A third of the loungers were already reserved, even at this time.
If I could advise the hotel on an improvement I would suggest a few more bar staff (I hate queuing) - but that is honestly it.
Fab holiday. Fab food. 5 star review for a three star hotel.
