Spiros and his family have created a paradise in Akrotiri, which was our favorite part of Santorini as it is slower paced and much less touristic. At every turn Spiros was committed to making sure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfasts in the morning were such a highlight on the veranda overlooking the sea and countryside. Our accommodations were immaculate and full of charm. We can't wait to return!!!

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms, although the wind blows hard on the Caldera side - which has the most amazing views.

We only just arrived so maybe it is too soon to say, but this place feels like the Santorini-dream. A beautiful picture perfect place to stay with an infinity pool and great little houses to stay in. We came with a child, the staff was helpful and even helped us changing rooms when we requested. Very good value for money!

Room Tip: Choose one of the rooms with a view on the caldera, they are spectaculair!

This place is the best. The best location, best facility and most of all is run by the best people. Spiros and his crew really take good care of you while you stay. Rooms are awesome, pool area is to die for and the food on site for breakfasts is great too. Fira is too busy and Oia seems to always be slammed with cruise ship chain gangs (tourists with tour directors barking and moving all the time in huge groups of 50 or more). Don't get me wrong, you've got to go see Fira and Oia but its best to return to the more quiet and more roomy southern side of the island to chill and really take in a vacation. This place is what you have in your head when you think about what a Greek island vacation should be - and it is. This place has all you need, its totally affordable and Spiros and his team treat you like family.

This place is close to several great restaurants and beaches.

Room Tip: We had a room with a loft for the kids, it was awesome.

We are travelling on a budget, but decided to splurge a bit to stay at Apanemo after seeing photos and reading reviews- we are so happy that we did! Spiros was a wonderful host, always around to offer advice, organise quad bike hire for us, even drop us off at the port when we had to leave. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, and we probably spent more time in the pool than exploring the island (oops). The rooms are spacious with great kitchen facilities, and sleeping in a loft was a real novelty! Although Akrotiri is away from the touristy areas of Fira and Oia, it is definitely worth the additional travelling around- we would be back in a heartbeat :)

I stayed here with my daughter and grandaughter. We had a great time. We were supossed to stay somewhere else but was a mix up with our booking which was good for us as this hotel was lovely and Spiro and his mum could not do enough for us. Lovely people you must stay here.
