Unfortunately we had really poor weather but this can happen if you go in May or September.
The hotel caters mainly for the French, six of the 8 entertainment staff are French. There are two Scandinavians to look after the Brits, all of them friendly and the French guys put on one of the best hotel shows I have ever seen - really professional !
The beach really could do with a clean up, if you go 100 meters either side of the beach it becomes difficult to walk on and has a lot of rubbish. Not suitable if a long stretching beach is what you want.
The staff were very good all round.
The water is rather unpleasant and I found that this spoilt most of the drinks and soups for me, but otherwise the food was good.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience regarding your recent stay in Aquis Capo di Corfu. We are really happy to read that you enjoyed the animation and you were taken care by our animation team. Animation especially for the non bright and sunny days is extremely important for the total holiday experience in a summer holiday resort. As you correctly mention in your review, this period occasionally there might be some moody days as well and the wind is very much accountable for the beach situation you describe, as seaweed might come out on the beach along with other ‘goodies’ that we humans wrongly through into the clear seawater. We of course continuously monitoring during those days the beach and we taking care of it. In Aquis we believe that you must be always on top, and the beach is a key success factor of our resort.

We are grateful for your lovely comments on our staff that does take pride in their hotel, work as a team, and everyone bends over backwards to exceed the expectations.

We once more thank you for selecting Aquis Capo di Corfu and we look forward to welcome you again in any of our properties in Crete, Corfu, Rhodes or Kos.

The moment we turned into the drieway we were blown away. The hotel was nothing as we expected.....it was so much better.
The rooms were lovely, the pool area, fantastic and the view from the beach, stunning.
The staff could not do enough to make our stay as pleasent as possible, and the food was also very good.
The only downside was that they tended to look after the french guests more than anyone else.
We only stayed a week, and it wasn't long enough! We actually said we think it was the best holiday we have ever had! We met some fantastic new friends also, and we will definately be heading back to the resort sometime in the future!

The moment our coach turned into the driveway of the resort we were pleasantly surprised with the view of te blue sea, beach, white umbrellas and white beach furniture. Everything is new and very well maintained. The staff is extremely helpful and very courteous. I would like to make a special mention of Lizzy at the Reception who arranged an electric kettle in the room as my husband and I are early risers and like an early bed tea, and Emmie in the Dining area and Michael who remebered every day that my husband likes Greek coffee.
The Animation team were very enthusiastic but I only wish they could speak some English. All the entertainment was in French which sadly I don't understand.
Couple of warnings - The Management needs to do something about an awful odour which seems to linger around sometimes.
Also the toileteries should be replenished more frequently.
One more thing - Too many pork dishes for the meals.

Everything about the quality, service and experience at this memorable hotel, are as the other reviewers have described, (TOP NOTCH). We stayed for two weeks and it was terrific. Special mentions go to Lizzy and the staff on reception, Dawn the Rep from the travel company, and to the hardworking guys getting the sunbeds ready each day - this is not a joke they were methodical and meticulous.

As far as some other comments about everything being geared for the French, I disagree, the entertainment staff did everything to be as inclusive as possible and the announcements were in both languages.

Down Side: The resort is a bit remote if you don't have transport, but the local buses are cheap, reliable and the journeys are interesting to say the least.

We arrived on the 14th May to sunshine, and first thought was what a lovely hotel great outlook across the sea, very clean.
From then on the weather changed we had heavy rain ,bad storms and cold.
The rooms are very clean very modern but still have a few teething problems,as we had to move room as water can up from the drain, the door handle came off ,but as its new i am sure it will be resolved.
The staff are very helpful ,some very nice waitress always wanting to top your wine glass,
The only bad thing we will say as the weather was so so bad, not anything to do as no English channels only news.Only two bars ,one out by the pool and the other very small if you are all sat inside. No real entertainment, then its mostly in French.

We did not do any trips due to the weather, but also a long drive and costly.

I did make two special friends who was always pleased to see me,as to get feed .(sneak out bacon and cakes and love the cheese) kept me from over eating.
Two black dogs who sit by the pool or down by the beach rolling in the sand.they are very friendly ,one loves being stroked the other i don't think has had much care as not use to being stroked. and backs away. I did feel for these dogs as i was told a local got rid of them.If you see them do feed them as the staff don't and they rely on us softies to feed them, they will come up to you and will remember you ,they saw me off when i got on the coach so sad to leave them.

We thank you for your feedback, we always consider well mannered feedback as an opportunity to improve our service standards and we most than welcome your concerns.

We’re happy that you found our property very clean and modern and our staff helpful, I will make sure to pass the compliments directly and I thank you on their behalf.
I can entirely understand the inconvenience caused by the bad weather. Rain while being in a beach holiday resort can make you feel disappointed however occasionally this period there might be some ruining days as well.

We would like to express our regret for the frustration that you experienced during your stay with us, as the weather conditions limited your options and we will certainly work more on exploring ways of continuously offer new alternative ways of entertainment. Our multi-language entertainment teams together with the French entertainers are here to cater for all guests regardless the nationality and as you may see most of the reviews are from UK guests that have stayed in our resort.

Again, we truly appreciate you sharing your experience; all your comments were well noted as our aim is the improvement of our guest’s experience with us so to ensure your return again and again.

21 may, returned last week after two weeks all inc, food & acc first class, staff brilliant nothing was to much trouble. bar staff upstairs & poolbar were exeptional. also cleaning staff did a great job, lovely pool area plenty of sunbeds, beach very good soft sand no rocks & pebbles ideal for kids, very shallow for first 100yds. if its a laidback holiday in lovely surroundings this is the place. animation team worked very hard but tend to lean to the french guests, not surprising as they are mostly french, the season in the surrounding area did not appear to have started kavos was like a ghost town nothing open. corfu is about 1.45min by bus from outside hotel cost 4 euros each way dont use taxis, price will give you heart attack . i would certainly go back again. yorky england

just got back from 10 days in this lovely resort. on the plus side, it hasjust been refurbished and is very hi-tech and comfortable. 32in lcd tv and dvd in room and lovely wide beds and plush furnishings.however they are experiencing some teething troubles and our toilet flushed hot water!! and there is an unpleasant smell near most of the outside toilets and i think that is because people are flushing paper down the toilets and the greek sewage system cant handle it! be warned!!

room service is as you require it - every day if you like. there is also a laundry service but it is expensive - but there are no facilities to wash or dry your own clothes.

free intertnet is available everywhere on the resort which is very handy! you can also rent a laptop.

the staff are all very friendly and eager to please.

the pool and beach are lovely and you get free pool towels.

the food is very good - worth 4 stars (some agents give this hotel 5 stars) with plenty of choice (although not much for kids - only pasta) and the restaurant is very nice. also for those of you who smoke (we dont) you can eat and smoke on the terrace.

ice cream is available all day, lots of flavours and sauces etc.

snacks are only served between 4 and 6 but to be honest you dont really need them!

however there is one big but:

most of the guests (about 90%) are french and so are all the entertainment team! and the french dont llike the english!! therefore we found that the english guests were snubbed when it came to the activities and evening shows.

most of the shows were french and only french guests were really welcome! - we were not amused!

everything was announced in french and not english - not even greek! we felt we were in france and we wanted to be in greece!

however david from sweden is lovely and tries his hardest to include the english guests.

also the resort is miles away from anywhere (kavos doesnt open till june!) and we usually like to be able to walk around the nearest town/shops when we are on holiday but this wasnt possible! the buses did stop at the resort and we were able to visit corfu town, however it takes 2 hours and 10 minutes each way!!

however, if you have a busy lifestyle and you are happy to chill out by the pool and eat good food and drink all you want in lovely surroundings then this is the holiday for you!
