My husband and I stayed at Levantes Boutique Hotel from 17 - 21 June 2011. We were picked up at the port and when we arrived at Levantes we immediately fell in love with the hotel! We loved the ambience, tranquility and the magnificent view of Mylopotas beach. Every little detail in and around the hotel was carefully planned to create a very special effect. Our room with a spacious balcony was very comfortable and we loved the classic design.
Levantes is a family owned hotel and every member of the family have a passion for doing what they do best. Every breakfast was home cooked and prepared with love! (Yes, you can taste the difference between "cooking just to feed tourists" and cooking with love and passion!!) Thank you, Margharita!
Irene gave us wonderful Restaurant advice and was very helpful in every possible way.
Marcos even took us into town to catch a bus to Manganari beach!
Our stay at Levantes was a unique and memorable expierience!
Levantes is in every respect a true de-luxe boutique hotel! We will be back next year!!!

Very cute resort, very nicely located between Mylopotas beach (2min by car) and Chora (4min). Very nice view of Mylopotas. Very helpful and polite staff (family operated). The common areas, pool, bar, restaurant were very well decorated. Very good surprise the bar and the friendly bartender.
The room had nice view and very good decoration, although it was a bit small (our balcony was almost larger than the room). The only bad thing was the bathroom which was poorly maintained and quite old!
The breakfast was a feast, with great variety and homemade cakes and pastry on a daily basis. I have to criticize though the expensive extra charge of espresso at 4 EUR!
Overall, good and friendly service and value for money. We will be back.

Excellent views from balcony. Really nice pool area with bar. Walk into town takes about 20 minutes but very close to the beach area. Room was very nice and staff were very friendly. Would recommend if staying in ios.

Just got back from our trip to Ios

We stayed at Levantes Hotel with my girlfriend and really enjoyed our time there.

Excellent service, really clean and tidy room, not to mention the hotel was beautifull and stunning already.

Loved the pool with the view at Mylopotas bay, try out yourselves.

The bar of the hotel was a nice surprise! the girls there make the best cocktails on the island and are very friendly and talkative.

Finally dont forget to check the rest of the island, cause the hotel is not the only place, although we spent most of our time there.. :P

We had three days here and had a lovely time. The hotel is perfect for relaxing.
Check in was friendly and efficient with lots of information offered on the hotel, resort and IOS.
The room was nice but we did hope for a little better for the price. Single beds in a room advertised as a double, flat TV but only a handful of Greek channels, bath room was tatty with old shower curtain, items missing from the wall and the wall mounted hair dryer left by the sink. The fruit bowl, water and toiletries however did offer a nice touch.

The best thing about the hotel are the communal areas around the pool. The owners have created a very pleasant feel to the place with lots of options for sitting in or out of the sun close to the pool and taking in the view over the bay.

There is a small dining area inside with further seating outside facing the pool, this also sits next to the outside bar.
The breakfast selection was very good and items were replenished throughout the duration of breakfast. The only improvement that is needed is to provide much better coffee, the coffee on offer was always Luke warm and tasted terrible.

Bar service was good and on occasions we were served as we sat near the pool which was good. Prices as you might expect are a little steep (two coffees and two cokes were €15)

The service throughout our stay was good. Transfers were provided to and from the port.

Free wifi offered to all guests but signal patchy in the rooms.

The hotel is in a great location within easy distance of the beach and the main town. It is a steep walk to and from the beach so choose carefully if this could be a problem.
Buses stop outside the hotel if you flag them down and take only 5 mins to town. It is possible to walk back to the hotel in 20 mins if you fancy it and are prepared to brave the road!

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, looking down on Mylopotas beach. The owners are very friendly people and really care about their guests. The rooms are nice but could use a little bit of refurbishing (in contrast with the communal area's, which are almost picture perfect). Transport to and from the port is complimentary.
The best word to describe the capital (chora) is "sleazy" but this again we find in contrast with the rest of Ios which is amazing, unspoilt (little settlements around) and reachable by long winding roads through an astonishing landscape of hills and sea.
