“Old pianos in a former church”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2013

The collection of pianos and other related equipment is very interesting and historical although there could be more so much more effort put into the displays. Currently, the collection looks more like a display in a second-hand shop. It is not well thought out at all. The former church setting with interesting stained glass windows and a large rose window, offers so much opportunity in terms of lighting and presentation and it is a pity that more thought is not put into these aspects to maximise appearance and interest.

Explanatory information provided is only in French and the experience is therefore limited for those with little or no French.

“An amazing setting for an important collection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 September 2013

This is well worth a visit, even if you have no technical interest in pianos. The pianos on display in the old church were beautiful and evocative of a past, more gracious era, when playing the piano was a valued accomplishment. There were also piano roll machines and a children's toy piano section.
