Didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The check in was efficient, cabin was well equipped & lovely surroundings. We cycled and went swimming every day. Great fun for kids & adults.

Room tip: Cabin 446 was great for us. Yes the orange decor is a little dated but it was clean, well equipped and had a great Grohe shower and efficient central heating.

Great outdoors. Bring your own fishing gear. Nice carp and pike among others. Get a plan for the week. Visit the all you can eat buffet. We were mainly offsite being tourists. Not ideal for this type holiday so we missed some on site activities. Some miles from main cities but an ideal family get away.

Het Meerdal is a well maintained site with great swimming pools and outdoor activities. We went during Easter holidays and paid less than half the UK price. There was ten of us five adults and five children between 3 and 8 years they all had a wonderful time swimming, cycling, playing crazy golf and visiting small children's zoo on site. We also enjoyed full day at Tooverland theme park a good value park very well looked after with great rides for children and adults.
The theme park is only 7 km from Her Meerdal.
To get there from UK we used Eurotunnel then drove though France, Belguim and then Holland. Takes 3.5 hours all motorway but quite busy well worth the drive.

A bit smaller and quieter than the English counterparts, but still plenty to do. Very relaxing and pleaseant environment. The swimming pool is fantastic! Toverland is 10 mins away and well worth a visit.

Room tip: A bit slow at the Information desk, not enough staff really, but very comfy rooms.

We have been going to center parcs for years. This year we had a limited income so decided to go to Het Meerdal and stay in a comfort villa. It was what it says a comfort villa. The entertainment and swimming pool are still amazing and we enjoyed that very much. In the past we have stayed in VIP villas which are extremely comfortable and would definitely recommend

Room tip: What ever you stay in. It is always clean. If you can afford to go VIP do it. But you will still enjoy center parcs even in a comfort villa
