Watch out! Do not confuse this hotel with the one in Verbier. It is 42 kilometers away by highway. although the website says it is only 3.6 miles. They have a policy of non-refundable booking, and when I discovered the error within 72 hours, i tried to cancel but the owner was conveniently unavailable. All these ski to the lifts reviews must be for the other hotel. Do not be fooled by false advertising.

Room Tip: stary somewhere else if you really want to be in Verbier

Just spent 5 nights at the hotel, for a ski holiday with a group of 9 friends.
5 stars it is not, but then that is reflected in the price. Having said that, it is very clean and comfortable and is on par with many other 3 star hotels I have stayed in.
The location, a couple of minutes walk to the lift pass office and telecabine means you are on the pistes within 10 minutes of walking out the door and in the larger domain of Verbier within 20 minutes.
The staff make the hotel, the assistance prior to arrival and throughout our stay was fantastic. The restaurant serves very good food, reasonably priced and with a warm relaxed ambience.
We are already planning our return for January 2015 !

Arrived a bit late for a meal, not being used to Swiss eating times (18:30 - 21:30). We were made very welcome and a good meal of ample proportions provided. Wife wanted fondue but after being told would only serve for two chef came to table and said would cook for just one. Restaurant nice ambience without being stuffy or too posh. Reasonable prices excellent food and service.

This hotel is next to the ski lift facilitating skiing in winter and hiking/mountaineering in summer. The rooms are decorated in old-fashioned style but the beds are really comfortable which should be the purpose of a hotel right? The bathroom had some humidity but had warm water.... For the price we paid and taking into account that is in the middle of the Alps it was great value for money.., I will go back whenever I go for a hike or snow... Not for a romantic weekend...

Calling this hotel one up from a youth hostel is insulting youth hostels. It has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Staff very rude and unhelpful from the moment we arrived, we were left waiting in a corridor as there is no reception and entrance to the 'hotel' is through the area where boots and skis are kept, all over the place. Bearing in mind that there are signs everywhere telling you not to leave valuables in your room and that managemant cannot be held responsible for items left say on a coat hook or in the 'boot room' the first room we were offered had no key, it was lost! We also had to climb a tiny stair case off the second floor corridor to our rooms with all sorts of stuff shoved under it. Breakfast consisted of a few almost empty cereal boxes, some totally empty juice cartons, a bit of fruit and a few pain au chocolat presented in the bag in which they were purchased! No it's not 5* but it does advertise itself as 3* I don't know why they must be self awarded. We had to leave and found alternative cheaper but actual 3* accomodation in the centre of Verbier! Two words - Twilight zone!!!

Brilliant location just 30m from the cable car, provides family rooms with bathrooms to very fair prices!
This is not a 5 star hotel, the price is comparable to youth hostel with a much better service. Breakfast buffet offers everything one needs before a day skiing, great coffee. We had half board, staff was a bit unorganized, food was absolutely fine. Staff was always very friendly and helpful.
For the price you are paying - no complaints!

This must be the worst hotel ihave ever stayed in, hardly up to youth hostel standard. Staff is very unfriendly and tends to shout at each other a lot. Rooms are bare minimum, some you even have to share a bathroom. Beds squeek at every turn, breakfast provides the bare minimum of processed bread and cheese.

The only good thing is the location, close to the lift.
