Stayed for 4 nights in March. First room we were shown had some noise issues but we were upgraded immediately on request to a much better room with a balcony and a stunning view over the valley. We upgraded to half board which provided us with a delicious 4 course meal every night. My wife had asked me to procure some Porcini mushroom stock cubes which you cannot buy in the UK and as it happened nor in Switzerland! However the Italian owner told me they came from Italy and he would pick some up when he next visited. True to his word a couple of weeks ago I received 3 brand new packets in the post! My wife was over the moon.

I have just spent 4 nights here and can thoroughly recommend it for friendliness . The hotel owner Pascal an experienced Mountaineer is always around to make you feel at home . The rooms and bathrooms are clean and there was plenty of hot water. The food with Demi-pension was excellent value and just what you needed after a hard days skiing. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of fresh fruit, and juice, cereal, rolls , cured ham, jams and honey . Even a hot plate to allow you to cook your eggs just how you like , all with quality coffee or tea . This hotel is in the 4 Valleys ski area and is a 9 min lift ride to the top of the mountain from where you can see and ski down into Verbier . Very good value

Ok, it isn't, but it's probably the cheapest and is ideally located just below the lifts.
Had a great weekend there with friends. A decent meal first night and the owner, Pascal, was the most accommodating host.
If you want luxury (or really any frills at all), stay elsewhere, but functional and convenient is what I wanted this weekend and la Poste met the spec.
It's up for sale now and will probably get all swanky under new ownership, which will be nice, but we'll miss it when it's gone!

Room Tip: Hmm. Tricky. They're none of them great to be honest, but hey, just go with it.

Watch out! Do not confuse this hotel with the one in Verbier. It is 42 kilometers away by highway. although the website says it is only 3.6 miles. They have a policy of non-refundable booking, and when I discovered the error within 72 hours, i tried to cancel but the owner was conveniently unavailable. All these ski to the lifts reviews must be for the other hotel. Do not be fooled by false advertising.

Room Tip: stary somewhere else if you really want to be in Verbier

Just spent 5 nights at the hotel, for a ski holiday with a group of 9 friends.
5 stars it is not, but then that is reflected in the price. Having said that, it is very clean and comfortable and is on par with many other 3 star hotels I have stayed in.
The location, a couple of minutes walk to the lift pass office and telecabine means you are on the pistes within 10 minutes of walking out the door and in the larger domain of Verbier within 20 minutes.
The staff make the hotel, the assistance prior to arrival and throughout our stay was fantastic. The restaurant serves very good food, reasonably priced and with a warm relaxed ambience.
We are already planning our return for January 2015 !

Arrived a bit late for a meal, not being used to Swiss eating times (18:30 - 21:30). We were made very welcome and a good meal of ample proportions provided. Wife wanted fondue but after being told would only serve for two chef came to table and said would cook for just one. Restaurant nice ambience without being stuffy or too posh. Reasonable prices excellent food and service.

This hotel is next to the ski lift facilitating skiing in winter and hiking/mountaineering in summer. The rooms are decorated in old-fashioned style but the beds are really comfortable which should be the purpose of a hotel right? The bathroom had some humidity but had warm water.... For the price we paid and taking into account that is in the middle of the Alps it was great value for money.., I will go back whenever I go for a hike or snow... Not for a romantic weekend...
