Visited Alexandros Villa in Batsi for a relaxing week with my girlfriend, aiming at a "beach"holiday.Must say we weren't much in our room, only for a shower and a rest. However even if one requests more, the accomodation has nothing to offer. It is clearly a room for rent, with kitchen facilities if one wishes to cook while on holiday.Perfectly clean, fantastic beach/sea view from our water front room.Very quite so one could have a good sleep.Only 10 minutes walking distance from the little town of Batsi, which has a few bars and restaurants for a relaxing evening by the sea.No actual parking is available,so if you take a car keep in mind you will be parking on the side of the street.
Note that no breakfast is available, but you can go to the nearby local bakery for some pies.

Room Tip: Definately book a room with beach/sea view.It is the highlight of the accomodation.

We stayed in this hotel on July 2010. Basic hotel, with not very obvious drawbacks, a very good choice for budget travellers. The rooms in the above floor have a good view but we didn't stay there so can't say more about them. Keep in mind that it is a little bit far from city centre. It's within a walking distance of 15 minutes, it could be. Overall, i could say that for the money spent (45 euros/night) it was a good choice.

Built on the best spot of Batsi,1km from the village,
just 5' on foot away from a lovely small beach.
No breakfast but with fridge, kitchen hotplates and equipment.
14" TV,A/C,ceiling fan,WC/shower.Not bad.Recomended.

Almost magnificent position, friendly staff, quiet nights BUT old-looking building and rooms.

This accommodation is simple but has all you need - Air conditioning, fan, balcony with stunning view, kitchenette, tv, shower & wc. The owner Lorraine is welcoming and helpful. Moreover she is extremely honest. When I called to book she quoted me €50 per night. When I arrived she informed me she had made a mistake & in fact it was only €35! To have such a view and facilities for this price surely can't be beaten. OK it isn't 5 star, but is certainly more than adequate. Note this is self-catering so there is no breakfast or room service. The bus between Gavrio port and Andros town stops right outside the door, so it is possible to do limited exploration without renting a car, beware the bus connects with ferries, but otherwise is infrequent. The beach is less than 5 minutes on foot. Town is about 10 minutes walk - very good for digestion after dinner! Lorraine said the bathrooms would be refurbished after this season, so that will make the accommodation even better.
