This was the 1st time we have stayed in the Oceanus,but have stayed in Olhos d'Agua earlier in the year. The location is superb for local restaurants,supermarkets and bus/taxi ranks and only a 10 minute walk to the superb beach and village centre. The hotel is superbly clean and the staff very welcoming,the apartments are well equipped,comfortable and clean. They have 3 pools a smaller one in the second part of the complex an indoor one and a larger one by the main entrance which also has a snack bar. Yes the pools are cold but having experienced 31 degree heat,once you have got used to It,it's very refreshing. They also offer a luggage store and shower facilities should you have a later flight like we did once you had checked out. Very impressed

Olhos d'Agua is a peaceful village between Villamoura and Albufeira with its own beaches and many good restaurants. The Oceanus is a perfect base to make the most of all the surrounding facilities.
The hotel itself is very comfortable with well equipped rooms, three swimming pools (one indoor) and friendly staff. We first went for a winter break and liked it so much we returned in September and were not disappointed. It looked like a bit of a bun fight for loungers around the pool, some occupied from early in the morning by only a towel! This was slightly irritating but with fantastic sandy beaches a short walk away it is unlikely to spoil your holiday.
All in all - highly recommended!
