This site dates back to the 2nd century AD. Parts are in remarkable presivation. Also a great deal more of the site is yet to be uncovered. The museum is a must. Entrance part of the first ticket. So hang onto it. The cafe does some Roman dishes and is not over priced. Only Adarna Avellue (not sure of the spelling) beats this for presivation of a Roman Site in Portugal. This was settled 200 years earlier. But abandoned, looking like they marched out last week. For Roman Buffs Portugal is a must.
