A good stay, sound sleep was had by all and an excellent breakfast the next morning. hotel is in lovely surroundings just outside Falmouth. The night was sweltering hot but presence of air con in rooms would have helped.

We decided to start our holiday early and travel down to Cornwall on Friday to beat the Saturday traffic, our Accommodation we had booked for the week was full and we needed an alternative close by for one night.

We have stayed in many Premier inns and so were happy to book and it was on the route we was already taking, but the £92 room only rate we thought was very inflated and over priced i know it was booked late and is in high season but this is 4 star money not budget chain money.

ARRIVAL -
don't use the post code on some sat nav's or it will try and take you down a lane, carry on further down the road to the roundabout there you will see the signs for the hotel
there is plenty of free car parking but does fill up fast

check in was fast and friendly and couldn't be faulted, the hall ways to the room were so hot tho.

THE ROOM -
Standard Premier inn room functional and basic good sized room and a very comfy bed as always, was very clean and tidy,
bathroom was a good size and an excellent shower
the only down side was the heat in the room no air conditioning but they do provide a fan but it was quite loud so it was either roast or have the fan on and listen to it all night.

THE RESTAURANT -
We ate in the restaurant twice once in the afternoon the food and service was both very good and excellent value on there weekday value menu so we booked for an evening meal as well
we arrived at 7.30pm and were show by the manager to our waiting table a couple of minutes later a young lady introduced her self as our waiter for the evening,
we placed a order for drinks and main meals, the drinks arrived quickly and the meal a while after
the food again was very good, cooked very well but the normal menu prices do apply which are slightly more than you would expect to pay at a place like this but it is convenient being attached to the hotel
this is were the service then went very down hill we sat for 45 mins with empty plates and glasses as the young lady kept walking past but didn't clean them away or ask if we wanted any more drinks or dessert, eventually we had to get the manager involved who him self took the plates away and took our desert and drinks orders he apologized
the young lady seemed to take offence to us getting the manager as she barely spoke when she took the desert dish's away and then kept her distance.

an average experience really would book again but not before looking at other options in the area for a better price or would book in advance for a better rate.

Room Tip: no lift so if you need help get a ground floor room

We were due to arrive late on Sunday afternoon, we had just pulled away from home when I received a call on my Mobil from the hotel. They rang to see if we wished to book a table for our evening meal as they were very busy. This was very useful for the hotel was fully booked and the adjoining restaurant was in need very busy.
On Arrival we were greeted by two very friendly members of staff.
The staff had us all booked in, 3 separate rooms breakfast arranged for the next morning and all paid in no time at all.
It was very hot and there was no air conditioning in the building so we were very pleased that staff had opened the window and put on a tall fan to keep the room cool.
Everything was as you would expect clean and tidy, two types of pillows and covers to suit all needs. We have stayed at a number of different hotels in the area and most provide additional blankets in case you are cold but none of the others provided a thin sheet in case the quilt was too hot, thankfully this hotel had and we all made use of the sheets as it was a hot and sticky evening. Breakfast was not included within the price which was a shame and the we booked early so had a better deal than if we booked the day before, even so it was much more than the advertise £29 per night that was on the web!
Would we stay here again ? yes if in the area we would.
There is plenty of parking, no lifts and only twin rooms on the grown floor.

Room Tip: Rear rooms (those with even numbers) have a nice view, see photo attached to review; those with odd numbers have a view of the car park. The fire doors bang a little but there are lots of signs asking people to be quiet while moving around.

Clean friendly hotel & rooms are consistently clean. We cannot find any cheaper rates for this Premier Inn. £168 for 2 nights excluding breakfast and dinner is quite a lot. Wifi free for only 30 minutes if lucky to get connected.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always received a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are spotless and the staff friendly and very efficient. The restaurant serves excellent food.
The ideal place to stay with the family or for business.
