The good :

The food has been excellent on our all inclusive week. They offer a great choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

The staff are very friendly.

The rooms are basic, but clean

The bad:
You will find it difficult to escape loud piped music around the hotel. It seems to be everywhere around main complex all day - not good if you want a quiet relaxation.

The all inclusive doesn't include any format of drinks in your room. There is a fridge but it's empty. The drinks at the bar consists of one okay beer and awful wine (plus the obligatory Ouzo).

The second relaxation pool has a terrible smell of poo that fills the air in waves..... It must be located to the septic tank. This makes it hard to relax with such a horrid smell.

There is a broken walk down a crumbling path to the sea..... no beach and lots of mess.

The bathrooms are dated (circa 1970 Greek bathroom : shower curtain, 1m sqr trough, tiny sink and fixtures)

Would I come again..... err no

Having visited lesbos as a family for many years we love this beautiful island and the friendly greek people.
We chose this hotel as our previous accommodation has closed down, we would never go for all inclusive in Greece but thought it would be ok for breakfast and lunch and would eat out in the evenings. The dining area is like a school canteen with everyone fighting to get to each section. The fruit and salad section was always very good. The hot section although the food was never hot was very poor with very fatty meat dishes and dried out meals.
The beer was poor quality with bits floating in it.
The fruit juice from a machine was always warm.
Although there were signs asking u not to towels were put on all the sun lounger first thing and some were not used all day.

On a plus the staff were friendly and accommodation was clean.

If u want a nice friendly relaxing holiday this is not the hotel for you.

Room - Excellent size, very clean and has everything you want for a holiday. Washing line outside, it is really windy there so take pegs! Bathroom is more like a shower room with a bath as it does have a drain in the middle of it. The only issue we had was the air con was not very effective for the size of the room so expect a few hot nights we did ask at reception for a fan and she said she will have the air con checked, this was checked and it did come out a little cooler but again the unit is too small for the size of the room, maybe an addition to a ceiling fan would be better. We had a fridge in the room and you can get bottled water from the bar so you can have it chilled. We also went to the mini market to get some drinks for it.
Staff - we kept seeing the same staff members everyday, they work extremely hard and at times looked tired due to these long hours. They were very polite and helpful. Our flight was later in the day and they allowed us to keep our room longer than the check out, just ask and they will try to accommodate.
Food - we really enjoyed the food at this hotel, it was simple and no it didn't have the usual chips every meal, we like this because we do go abroad to try the local cuisine. We did have a few issues with the fried food, one three occasions I had fish and each time it was raw in the middle, on one occasion I had chicken and it was still raw in the middle, maybe they need to turn the fryer down a little? This stopped me giving the hotel 5 stars.
Drinks - If you are from the UK and book with Thomas Cook the all inclusive package does include some cocktails and spirits - just ask! There isn't a free bar after 11pm but this didn't bother us as we were too tired to stay up late. There is also no entertainment and this again is fine with us as we wanted it to be peaceful.
Area - The locals are really welcoming and take the opportunity to hire a car 45 euros a day approx. or quad bike 24 euros a day like we did, we went to the castle on the quad lovely experience and the food there is amazing, we took a taxi on the last night and went up there for food and cocktails the views are amazing as well as the staff. We also went to Petra on the tourist train twice and had lunch at Kantina, wow that was excellent. This was the type of holiday where you can and should explore. Really nice.
Pools - There are two pools here one that is a relax pool for adults and we never had issues getting a sun bed, the pool is very cool though the sea is warmer! However, my husband really liked this as it was very hot here.
Complex/service - The hotel was lovely very well maintained and it is on the hill and there are slopes and steps however we really liked it, it was very pretty. You can get a mini bus to the town which is free, the taxi is 5 euros to town. We had a room with a sea view and we were about 7KM away from Turkey no we didn't see refugees and it was an extremely pretty view. This hotel is a little gem with not many people from the UK visiting it but lots from Holland which we enjoyed as they were all friendly people. Not sure why not many from UK go to this hotel as it is lovely, you can only book the all inclusive package with Thomas Cook. It was very peaceful relaxing definitely recommend for a couple.
We only stayed for a week but we enjoyed it that much that we wanted to stay for an additional week. The all important question - would we return, yes we would as we did enjoy this holiday.

Room tip: Go for sea view it is gorgeous. All rooms very peaceful.

Stayed here for a week in July, fantastic weather we found the hotel a little boring nothing much going on a little on the quiet side was
Ok for a chill out week, rooms were fine nothing fancy or anything but served there purpose, we were disappointed with the all inclusive infact only ate 2 meals and had breakfast once, thought drinks were on the poor side think they need more choice if on all inclusive only larger wine or ouzo everything else had to be payed for, the infinity pool was nice with lovely views, staff were friendly enough and rooms cleaned on a daily basis, very hilly not suitable for people with poor mobility.

We returned from a weeks stay here on Saturday 30th July. We had got the holiday as a last minute deal in a wrexham travel agent and saw the photos and took it with a 3 week wait til we went. We arrived in molyvos around 11.30 at night. If you stay here, expect a good 2 hour transfer. Lesbos has one airport and this hotel is on the other side of the island. Don't complain, it's the only option so you'll just have to accept it. You'll be pleased when you arrive here after you've seen some of the hotels on the way! We were met with a plate of food and drink when we arrived before turning in for the night. We went to our welcome meeting the following morning in molyvos itself, which we got to via the free minibus laid on by the hotel. Molyvos itself is a sleepy small village set into a hillside on the coast. Very pretty indeed. Plenty of tavernas, bars and shops but that's about it! Back to the hotel, there are 2 pools available, 1 for families and 1 for adults only so you can have some peace and quiet. Children did make it into the adult only pool every now and again but as long as they kept the noise down I wasn't too bothered. There is a bar near both of the pools so refreshments are easily obtainable. We were sold its holiday as an all inclusive by our travel agents which is not strictly true but it is well signposted in the hotel. As Thomas Cook customers you were allowed more, but if you are unsure, just ask! The staff are very happy to explain what you can and can't have depending on your package! You can hace unlimited food, beer, wine and ouzo as well as soft drinks and filter coffee, one scoop if ice cream a day, which is more than suffice unless you are trying to give yourself diabetes (ref some of the reviews below, I don't see what the issue is). You will have to pay additional prices for cocktails etc but we were fine with that. The food as a rule was pretty good, but be careful if you eat the battered fish or anything that has been in the deep far fryer, everyone we tried wasn't cooked properly. The fish was still raw as were the chicken wings. Just be careful. No other complaints! No upset stomachs this time for us! The rooms are spacious and clean and are cleaned daily. The maid will switch your air con off though. All inclusive service closes at 11 pm and all drinks will be paid for after that. There was one entertainment evening whilst we were there but that suited us as in our experience, hotel singers and acts are usually pretty naff so we were glad of the quiet background music at night. This holiday resort is perfect of you just want to come and have some peace and quiet for a week or two, there isn't a great deal to do in molyvos or surrounding areas other than eat and drink, but we knew that and took advantage of the hotel for a week and relaxed to our hearts content. We hired a quad bike and went out exploring, Petra is worth a visit for the shops and in particular the Kantina and tsaliki's in Petra square for the food and drink.

Bear in mind the hotel is built into a hillside and there are steps and slopes to navigate but if you're a human and you have legs that shouldn't be a problem (again reference the snotty reviews below) this hotel isn't for someone with difficulties with mobility. The staff here are great, well mannered with great senses of humor and can't do enough for you, in fact I think they are somewhat overworked as one lad I spoke to hadn't had a day off for a month due to the hotel being busy. Poor kid, but still he smiled on and did his job as best as he could!

Don't come here if you are looking for lots of activity, nightclubs and beaches as there aren't any, this was perfect for us!

Thanks for a lovely quiet week, belvedere. Wed gladly come back
