“Excellent beach but the hotel does not worth the price”
Reviewed 26 August 2009

The hotel needs renovation, especcially the rooms and the restaurant. The gathering for the dinner and lunch reminds me of being in the army, 600 people eating all together. I'm bored of the food almost from my first day being there. Also, there was an entertainment program playing loud music at the outdoor bar, from 22.00 until midnight. If you have small kids (and everybody there have) you can understand how difficult is it to make them fall asleep.
On the other side, the beach is excellent, the swimming pools are adequate for fun and the hotel has a lot of sport facilities, but who does sports when he is on holidays.

In conclusion, I think that the hotel does not worth the price (220 € per day, food inclusive).

I there stayed for a week in August 2009 with ageing parents.

The beach is terrific. One km of fine sand, outside as well as inside the sea. But if this uniformity bores you and prefer coves, pebbles, sea life (flora/fauna), this beach isn't for you. (By the way, the beach is 11km long, there are at least a couple more resorts further south, I think).

The hotel grounds are terrific. The activities are varied, and very good to excellent (not necessarily up to par with some Club Med's, from what I hear, but close). There is no other place in Greece with 16 top notch clay tennis courts, and no other hotel (except club Med) in Greece offering, for example, archery as far as I know. Water sports were also very well equipped and very professionally staffed. The food was definitely better than average: Good quality first ingredients (many veggies grown in the hotel farm), and usually very good cooking (there were a few misses). The restaurants were pretty nice -- great if one gets an outside table with a view of the sea.
The sports, spa, bar and restaurant staff were very very nice -- the non-Greek members being a bit more professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful than the Greek staff.

The rooms were adequate but not great. We stayed in the center building, in sea view rooms. They were quiet, with a very nice view, very clean, with comfortable beds, cable TV, but in general they're quite basic in their appointment. The bathrooms showed the building's age. In other words, it's not a room you want to spend more time than necessary in -- but you definitely get a good night's sleep (listening to the waves splashing on the beach, if you want), If room comes first, this is not the hotel for you.

For the price, I think if the rooms were more plush and luxurious, something else would suffer -- it was a great balance for us.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It needs rennovation and the food was awful...

The building is absolutely old and our room as well. It was small, has just the basics and smelled mould; our bathroom also had a strong urine smell. Sheets and towels were worn. The cleaners simply did nothing, I bought myself a detergent and had to clean it myself!

This hotel actually forced us to pay full-board. There was no choice for us. So even though the room itself cost 70 Euros which is understandable for its condition, we had to pay 3 times this much, because meals were included in the price.... The restaurant was open for many hours a day and the variety of food was rich. But the quality.....was awful. Their oil smelled bad and we both had nausea throughout the day and did not recover but after many days after we returned home....

This hotel has one big advantage: it is situated on a very nice and long beach. Also, it has many organised activities thoughout the day, sports, spa, entertainment. Finally, it is surrounded by a beautiful garden and there are many spots to sit down and relax. Its pool areas are also nice. This is a hotel which was made for people who want to stay in and spend their vacation in a hotel that provides for them everything.

So it is really a pity we could not enjoy ourselves as we should....because in my opinion, the room and the food comes first and all the rest (activities, pools etc) second....This could become a perfect hotel if the did a serious rennovation AND if they used better ingredients in their meals. All it left to us was just a bad taste....

PS just an advice, if you choose this hotel do not stay in a sea-view room, as it looks over the main pool area and there are activities there all day long, and until 24.00...so in case you need to sleep in the middle, choose a garden view instead.

The brochure wrote: It is a hotel with character, where the atmosphere is unique: comfortable, friendly, full of surprises and also very familiar.
I say NEVER TRUST A STRANGER.
It used to be a Robinson Club Hotel and I had visited it 3 times in the past with no problem. The facilities are great; the location is great but be prepared to face bad service and Greek Management
I had a 5 day stay during Orthodox Easter and I came across some major problems.
1. I was having breakfast with my family in the “Non Smoking” area of the restaurant when 5 people in 2 different tables started smoking. I asked the waiter to inform them. He run to his supervisor and came back with an Astonishing answer: “My supervisor suggests that YOU should change table and sit in the corner near the window”
2. On Ester Day the restaurant was half closed for the residents of the hotel. The other half was booked by a travelling by, group of people (we never saw them). We had no place to eat. There was a big fight with the hotel manager and only after that they opened the other half of the restaurant.
3. The bathroom lamp was burned out from day one. We called the frond desk for a new. We never got it during our 5 day stay and we had to use the corridor light in order to see during the night.
4. The staff is fewer than previous years and as a result you get worst service.
In my opinion it didn’t worth it money!!!

We visited Robinson Club Kyllini Beach in early August 2008. Our party consisted of a couple of adults and two children aged 3 and 6.

The location of the hotel is great, the reception area large and luxurious. The room we stayed in was adequate, although for the price we paid we would expect something larger and more fancy.

The hotel has three pools, none of which are at any place more than 1.4 meters deep. So, I gues while ideal for the small children, they were not what we would be looking for.

A magnificent beach lies in front of the hotel. There really is no reason to stay at the pool, when such a beach is available!!!

The food in the accomodation was simply AMAZING. We have never had such a huge buffet for all three meals of the day, and the impressive fact is that almost all of the dishes were executed in an outstanding way.

Entertainment was mainly oriented to the german group tourists who are the majority in the hotel. There is a semi amateur theatrical group that dances and presents plays every night. This group of people is spontaneous, and a lot of fun to watch!!! (Bravo Julia, you are amazing when dancing "Lord of the Dance")

Overall, it is a great accomodation, albeit not cheap.
