Antonis is an excellent seafood taverna on the beachfront of Stegna, an authentic Greek fishing village. The fish is so fresh you might even see a fisherman come in with the catch of the day. The owner is a charming host. The Simi shrimps are sweet and succulent, the fresh sardines, filetted, butterflied and grilled in good olive oil are a dream. We also had pitaroudia, fried courgettes and chorta, traditional Greek greens. All were delicious. We ate rich Greek yoghurt with resiny honey while we watched the moon rise over the sea.
