I came to this hotel last June with my boyfriend. The journey up to the hotel was shocking, it put us off as soon as we left the airport; it was long windy roads of scruffy shack type houses, with no one or nowhere to go to be seen anywhere. We were the first off the transfer as its only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The outside of the hotel itself was nice, the reception area is welcoming. We arrived at around 1.30pm and we were checked in immediatley, given our all inclusive bands and headed to the restaurant for quick lunch before it finished. Now, the food...shocking. Every meal we didnt know what any of it was (neither did the staff either i think). Alot of pasta dishes, meat in sauces and soggy potatoes in milk apparently. One night of chips. What seemed to be residents of Corfu appeared one night as well and rammed the place full making it really uncomfortable and a mission to actually get food. In the food room your only allowed to drink wine or beer...no soft drinks. The breakfast food such as cereals, spreads and bread were left out all dat just covered with a sheet. Breakfast had mini hotdog sausages, fatty rashers of bacon, cheese and ham slices and an egg if your lucky. The only pudding was watermelon for every meal. The room was nice, bathroom was tiny with a shower that made the bathroom into a wet room and a curtain that wraps itself round you. In the 7 days we stayed here there wasnt a single form of entertainment. The hotel was dead and the surrounding areas....basically nothing. There is a restaurant around the corner but a bit pricey. We went into Corfu town pretty much everyday just to eat something better and something to do (there is a mcdonalds there). The bus was around 1 euro 10 and took around 15 minutes into the centre. There was a pebble beach 5 mins down the road...about 0.5 mile long...rubbish nothing there, no bar, loungers, nothing. The approach up to it also smelt of sewers. The best part of the holiday was the pool area. Lovely and spacious and clean. The snacks with all inclusive....miniature cheese puff pastry things and ice cream...that is it. No problems with drinks. Plenty of selection and half price cocktails for all inclusive members, 3 euros each. The hotel is next to the runway so can be noisy. Would never want to go back. So boring, dead and inedible food.
