“Oh dear !”
Reviewed 16 September 2012

Walked from our hotel to the road above the beach. Walk was fantastic with breath taking views. Beach looked awful, few sun loungers strewn around and bar looked derilict ! Maybe we were too late in the season cos have visited this beach before and it was good..

“a gem of a beach”
Reviewed 15 September 2012

if you want to enjoy privacy and nature, this beach is perfect. there is also a taverna with lovely friendly owners and best greek salads on the island. the bathroom could be nicer but that's a fair 'price to pay' for the wilderness of this beach. you can hire deck chairs and beach umbrellas.

“Natural Greece”
Reviewed 22 August 2012

This beach was breathtaking due to its location and difficulty of access( the agility of a mountain goat is advisable). But this means it will never be overcrowded and spoilt.
The beach was small but that also added to its attraction together with the wonderful people running the taverna

“A real gem.”
Reviewed 18 August 2012

We loved this beach. The sunbeds and umbrellas were all a bit mismatched but that added to the charm. Beautiful clear sea which was great for snorkelling. We loved the small taverna made from drift wood and the very basic food served there - gavros, calamari, greek salad. The woman who owned it was very friendly and grew much of the salad in a vegetable bed out the back. You need a jeep or scooter to get to the beach and it is a steep walk down but well worth it.
