Situated on one of the largest and longest beaches on the Praslin Island with crystal clear warm water, the setting is truly beautiful and relaxing. Swimming distance to an underwater marine park is an added bonus. You could walk up to 100m into the ocean. Hotel staffs are attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with sea views and lush gardens.
All meals are served from one restaurant located on the beach. You could not ask for a better setting. The food is good but not great as they have to cater to a wide range of tastes, however, fresh fish is served daily which is excellent. Good location to other restaurants and hotels.
Seyschelle is truly PARADISE!

Room Tip: Most of the rooms are sea facing double storey buildings. Ground floor rooms are easy to access. Roo...

What a fabulous hotel! We stayed there from the 12th to the 19th of February 2012, and were in absolute heaven! Everything was top notch - the warmth and efficiency of the receptionists, the beautiful room and amazing view, the softest, warmest beach, and the friendliness and will-to-please attitude of the staff! We loved every second of our time at Paradise Sun, and we hope to come back some day.

Room Tip: We had a Superior room, which was lovely! Ask for ground floor if you dont like stairs.

Where can one find the words for Paradise Sun! We stayed in the superior room from 23-30 Jan 2012. All the staff and management was perfect! Almost every night we had a special turndown, private dinners etc etc the list goes on. The Manager Mr. Ferrari was really helpfull and very professional. He came and introduced himself and was always in the background to make the little chats here and there. We are also from the tourism industry and one tends to look out for the small things even more- and they def passed with flying colours! All the activites was arranged with Josepha of Seychelles select the morning after our arrival and she made sure everything went perfect. We really tried and do as much as we can, and a week was not nearly long enough. Be sure to see us soon again SEYCHELLES!
Tips: We used World wide travel- they def have the best rates to get into the Seychelles

Room Tip: Ask for a room which is not duplex. Single storey rooms is the best!

This hotel was brilliant! I have been there twice now...i am from Seychelles but now live in London and have visited this hotel on my trips back! It is a lovely hotel with a lovely beach! even in the monsoon season the sea was calm and there are sun loungers on the beach...there are not many hotels in Seychelles with this because some beaches are not suitable for swimming! there is also a lovely little pool...maybe a bit on the small side but with the beach right on your door step it doesn't really matter.

What i really loved about this hotel in particular is that everything in the main part of the hotel was very close..so the restaurant, pool and reception area were all within visible distance of each other! and another thing the restaurant was on the beach which is lovely because you can look out at sea whilst eating breakfast.

That brings me onto food....great buffet and breakfast brings about a great variety! I am vegetarian so the buffet at night was difficult but the hotel were great and made me something else.

The entertainment is also good; during the day they run many activities such as jewellery making(out of shells) to vollyeball! Just walking along the beach is also great because about 5 mins away there is a place called arts cafe and they do nice desserts and have a little gallery with very different pieces of art. On some evening the hotel have cocktails on and a bonfire with moucha which is a traditional dance (of the slaves that were brought a long time ago).

The rooms are very cosy with a huge balcony or veranda. The bathroom is well equipped with lovely smelling toiletries. The spa is also very good with good rates.

Other than that it is a great little hotel and the staff are all so helpful. I would says its very reasonable for the price (compared to other hotels in seychelles). You can have whatever type of holiday you want..the relaxing on the beach with a good book (my type of holiday) or the active holiday with walking trips to vallee de mee and other sports and watersports.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Paradise Sun during the first week of February 2012. What an amazing location, great hotel, warm, genuine service, and informally elegant atmosphere.

From reservations (we booked directly with the hotel) through arrival, meals, the diving centre, housekeeping and activity centre, all staff were genuinely efficient, friendly and unobtrusive, allowing you the maximum privacy, yet letting you feel welcome, and really like a home away from home. As a frequent business traveler, it was extremely refreshing being in a hotel which offer most of the "big resort" conveniences (on a smaller scale), yet remains the feeling of a small, boutique hotel.

The beach is fantastic! As the last property on the main beachfront, there are very few walkers by, the beach is well kept and the terrace offers enough sunbeds and shaded areas with umbrellas and trees. We spent 3 days doing a SCUBA diving course through Whitetip divers on the property, and the professionalism of Simona and her team was outstanding. Although a separate entity from the hotel, one can see how both businesses are run in the same personalised and efficient manner, and compliment each other well. We also used the snorkelling equipment and kayaks available from the activity centre, and had a great paddle along the gorgeous coastline surrounding the hotel.

The hotel was not very full at the time of our visit, yet the choice of meals were plentiful, freshly prepared. The salad bar was exceptional with fresh ingredients and some amazing choices. There was always a chef on hand at each station, explaining the variety, choices, and giving advice on some local options and specialties.

A job well done to the management and staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay, which after four days left us revived, energized and ready for a busy few months ahead.

Regards,

Timo Nieuwoudt

Lovely hotel in Seychelles. Great location with access to buses and taxis.

The dinners at Paradise Sun were great if you like buffet food, with (the same) live singers every night. The same songs got a bit monotonous and "going back to the Seychelles" will be burned into my memory forever.

We took a bus down to Anse Lazio beach which was amazing, we snorkelled with the turtles and saw amazing fish. The snorkelling right outside Paradise Sun is not the best but still a lovely swim.

The hotel also arranged a sunset cruise (for free), which was beautiful. They also can arrange day trips out to some of the smaller islands (for a fee) which had excellent snorkelling.

The staff at Paradise Sun were very accommodating and did everything possible to help us with whatever we needed.

The only thing which slightly spoiled our first day (not the fault of the hotel) was Air Seychelles which delayed our luggage by 12 hours, we spent our arrival day on the beach in our jeans, and every call to the airline they promised to deliver our luggage in 30 minutes, this continued all day. So a piece of advise is to pack a swimming costume and essentials into your hand luggage in case this happens to you as apparently it happens regularly.
