“This is my favorite place inthe world. SERIOUSLY.”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

My name is Rob Beauregard, I have been at the pink palace for one week now. If you go on my facebook you will see pictures of me over here, living a better life then 98% of the world. I literally have never felt so welcome anywhere. The owner George is a man who cares for 500 people more than his own self. He wakes up everyday to make sure that your stay at the pink palace is the best experience in your life. Not only is the ENTIRE staff completely amazing, the whole environment is amongst the best places i have ever been to. I have Been traveling the world now for more than ONE YEAR!!!! I have yet to come across a hostel better than THE PINK PALACE in Corfu. The security team is unbelievable as well, if you think you will face a situation that is uncomfortable or dangerous in any way, you have NO IDEA what this place stands for. This is an establishment that is filled with love, peace, safety and family. I say family because when you leave it is just like saying goodbye to your mothers, brothers, fathers and sisters.

I came here after I heard a few people, on my travels, say that this place is the "place to party!" and "out of control!" and a "must!" It isn't out of control, let me nip that in the bud straightaway.

You might think this is out of control if you have never been to a "party" hostel before or if you are 18 years old and you think drinking a bottle of vodka is the craziest thing you can ever do in your life. For everyone else, DO NOT COME HERE!

It is absolutely awful, it feels like you are on a summer camp in high school. Everything is so structured with so many ridiculous rules and everything is centered around "getting laid". What are we, 16 years old?!

The staff that work there are either 18 year olds who are ignorant about anywhere else in the world and think they have found the best place on Earth or 35 years old, who still think they are 18 years old and spend half the time chasing any girls they can get.

I went to a Toga "Party" that lasted about 2 hours and all I could think of the entire time was that I'm travelling around Europe. I could be a festival in Serbia, partying in Ibiza, raving in an Underground club in Berlin and I'm stuck in literally the worst place in the world.

Never been so glad to leave a place.

if you dont like to party, dont go here. We had the best time ever. we were scheduled to be picked up from the bus station at 4, but sadly we had missed our bus. we are from america so obviously we dont have cell phone service and werent able to call them and let them know. we were in the middle of nowhere and didnt have wifi either. The receptionist, Sue was extremely unfriendly to us about this and many other things. besides her everyone else rocked. the beds were very uncomfortable but the rooms were nice enough and it was cool having a balcony. oh and the air conditioning the prestine. i didnt like that they said no food or drinks in the room but they didnt seem to enforce it much. the drinks are so stinkin cheap. the first day we did the atv safari trip. one of my favorite days from my entire eurotrip. we saw so much of the island and got to play at a beach and went to some amazing lookout points. so much fun and totally worth the money. the next day we did the booze cruise. they almost cancelled it thought...apparently some problem with the police which is kind of sketchy, but oh well we had a blast. things definitely get a bit raunchy on the cruise though. people are very much encouraged to get naked and do other things but oh well, to each their own. the toga party was super fun. breakfast was better than the usual hostel breakfasts and dinner was always fantastic. the pool is pretty pathetic but i dont know why youd be going to the pool when the beach is right next door. oh and house keeping could learn to be a bit quieter, they woke us up every morning.

I went to the Pink Palace with a group of three families and our teenage kids. The Pink Palace was the most incredible place we have ever stayed. We were picked up free of charge from the airport. The rooms were very nice and tidy. The location was amazing, just a short walk from the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming to the guests. We got to meet people from all over the world and engage in activities like kayaking, four wheeling, and boating. The Pink Palace also provided very good meals, breakfast and dinner were included in the price. We had the most relaxing and amazing experience the Pink Palace and can’t wait to go back.

We stayed at The Pink Palace for 4 days, there were four girls and we stayed in the "Just For Girls" room. The room itself was clean but outdated, overall we had no problems with the conditions of the hotel however the activities were a different story.
Our first day there we did the booze cruise which cost 25 euros, this price covered only the boat ride itself, drinks were still about 2 euros on top of that. If we could describe the booze cruise in one word it would be "creepy", from the naked cliff jumping, to the naked body shots and having people basically have oral sex right in front of you, it was a very uncomfortable experience. At one point we stopped at a private beach to play some games which involved getting into sexual positions with your partner, switching swimsuits and eventually getting fully naked. It was very uncomfortable even for the most open minded people. The guys running the boat were very pushy in trying to get all the girls to take their tops off.
Every daily activity that Pink Palace offers costs money, about 25 euros minimum. Due to the price and our experience with the booze cruise we didn't participate in any of those.
The hostels beach area was beautiful though and we spent many hours on the loungers and in the water. Breakfast and dinner, which is included in the price, was delicious. Breakfast was yogurt, bread, ham, cheese and eggs every morning. Dinner varied but was very good every night (big portions). The staff seats you with people you don't know, which is really nice and a good way to get to meet new people.
The toga party on the Saturday night was a lot of fun, the highlight of our time at the Pink Palace. You pay 15 euros which includes your toga and 2 drinks, when you return your toga the next morning you get 10 euros back. The toga party was fun because most people staying in the hostel participate in this activity so it's a good way to hang out with everyone.
Overall our stay at the Pink Palace had it's pro's and con's, however we wouldn't go back.

Definitely a place to go if you want to party. They can shuttle you around the island for €5 each way, there are also public busses for a bit less. It was a pretty young crowd when I stayed, 19-24, and the excursions they have are fun. If you're not looking looking to party, look elsewhere.

My stay at the Pink Palace was an interesting one. For starters our room did not have warm water, after reception came to check it out and "fixed" it, warm water came for a few minutes but was gone within a half hour, oh and they decreased the water pressure so it took longer to rinse out my hair with cold water. ONE GOOD PART about the pink palace, was that the fun never stopped, it was a great spring break location. ATVing around Corfu was one of the most exhilarating things I have ever done. BUT the staff was terrible, aside from a young man with glasses who was very accommodating. The rest of the staff was inconsiderate and rude, at one point I had to deal with the manager which was not an experience anyone should have to deal with on vacation. This place sucked.

Room Tip: Just don't stay here.
