We recently stayed at this hotel after searching for a last minute deal on the net. I have to stay this was once of nicest holidays I've ever had. The rooms are lovely, the staff, kind and helpful. The views/sunsets are absolutely amazing. The beach fantastic.

The only slightly negative point is the food, and thats even bad. The food is the standard of a good quality canteen, and while there is a lot of choice on offer, it did get a bit repetitive towards the end of the week. Also, if you don't like dairy, your choices of dessert are a limited to fruit and jelly. Everything else was very creamy.

The evening entertainment was adequate. It must be hard to put together something to please everyone constantly. We were not expecting too much anyway.

Despite the resort being all inclusive I would encourage people to venture into the town. There are some nice bars out there and the local economy is suffering as people stay in the resort all the time.

We have recommended this hotel to several people - may even return next year.

When we arrived at the hotel we were wondered what a nice view we had! We arrived @ 10 o'clock in the morning but we could already make use of the All Inclusive without any troubles.
The hotel is very clean, every room has a nice view and there is delicious food @ the restaurant. Every day you can get something else and with good quality!

The hotel has also a lot of theme nights for example: Greek nights with a live band & folk dance group, Quiz 'Name that thune', Miss Agios Gordios Hotel,...

It was our first vacation at a hotel and it was excellent! What you see in the pictures (!!! the pictures starting from April because the hotel is renovated!) is what you get!!

We want thank especially 2 girls at the hotel who gave us the best time of our life because of their friendliness and helping hand:
Tonia --> She works at the a la carte restaurant near the pool. Very friendly and very helpfull! She is always there when you need her.. She did a very good job, even when it's 40 degrees outside, you'll see her do her best with a smile on her face; She always says hello when she sees you.. It's like you are family

Ioanna --> She works at the lounge bar near the reception: always there to make the best drinks, you will see her always with a smile on her face.. this gives the customers a relaxed impression of the hotel! we went back to this bar every evening just because of her.

Good job girls! Your boss should be proud of you!
We definitely will come back ... but you 2 have to be there too!

Of course, also all the girls and the guy from the reception are very helpfull!
And by the way: the problem with the wasps is because of all the trees.. You can also find them at some places at the beach.. It is just the time of the year! Nothing to do about it..
You can see some of them,... but they didn't cause really big problems

I went to Agios Gordios with my friend and her parents. We are both 15, and I was worried that, as an adult only hotel, we would not find much to do there. I was proven wrong! All morning there were fun water and pool side games going on, and in the evening quizzes, competitions and dancing kept us busy and very entertained. The general atmosphere was friendly and calm, and the staff were helpful and professional at all hours.
The food was great! There was not a huge amount of choice, but enough to keep meals varied over the stay. The local town was not far, so we had freedom to explore without getting lost, thought the climb up the hill to the hotel was pretty steep! The beach outside was beautiful and so close, literally 2 minutes away (though again, getting down and up from the beach was quite hard, espeically for older or physically disabled guests).
Our room was comfortable and the maids did well keeping it clean. I loved coming back in the evening and watching the stunning sunsets from our balcony, sipping drinks.
Most of our day was spent by the pool, and I have to mention the very cool music that was played all day, and the free ice cream bar we visited very often. I think everyone should try the water sports on the sea outside and visit Aqualand too.
Overall, I loved my stay at the hotel. It was great and I enjoyed it a lot! Now I'm back in cold London and can't wait to go on holiday again.
Big thanks to all the staff and to Miki and Susy for all their help :)

Absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic food, service and location. The sunsets from the lobby bar never failed to impress.
We had a wonderful holiday. Apparently the hotel was full but it certainly didn't feel like it. No queues for food or drinks and plenty of sunbeds.
Rooms had recently been refurbished and were clean and very comfortable.
The adult only nature of the hotel means that this is a perfect place for a quiet, romantic break.
Lots of steps to the beach though so may not be suitable for all.

Just returned from a week at this hotel, it has a fantastic location and the sunsets are brilliant. This is the first time i have been all inclusive and was a bit disappointed with the choice of drinks available as only a limited choice was included all inclusive. The food was good, fair choice, a little repetitive being in same place and lots and lots of pork and the deserts were gorgeous. A La Carte restaurant visit was lovely. Our room was clean, and had a great balcony. I did find some of the hotel staff a little bit off hand, whether this was intended or not i am undecided but a lack of manners, politeness and good customer service was noted on quite a few occassions, although this was only a few, however this was a bit unpleasant. The pool area is great and the private beach is really nice although lots of seaweed. I think its wrong they charge 7 euros to hire sunbeds on their private beach and refused to pay this. There was unfortunately huge amount of wasps, obviously not controllable really but it was relentless at times, probably due to the heat and it was unpleasant. We noted that the hoteldesperately need to purchase some new cd's - the same music was played, on repeat, for the entire week we were there by the pool - very repetitive to say the least! We are a young couple and on the whole had a pleasant, relaxing week at this hotel.

We stayed at Agios for 10 days and it was absolutely superb.

THE ROOMS are all overlooking the beach, newly renovated and equipped with modern cons like power shower, air conditioning and lcd tv.Cleaned everyday to the highest standard.

LOCATION is set in a beautiful bay surrounded by steep cliffs, green forest with a faboulus sunset guaranted every night.

THE STAFF are probably the best starting from the rececption, cleaners ,bar and restaurant. They serve you as if their life depends on it,with a huge smile .

MANAGEMENT is superb ,great thanks to our dear friend Mr Mexas the hotel manager who made sure that we had a great time, ever so pollite and friendly. And also to the one and only Fiona the restaurant manager, who is so pleasant and professional but do not go to the restaurant in the evening wearing shorts(men) :-)

WEATHER...... was in the 30s-40s for the whole time we were there and if anything it was too hot sometimes but there were loads of shady areas were you can relax to watch and feel the sun.

FOOD was great and there were so many dishes to choose from.

DRINKS..... love the white wine and all the cocktails,if you go to the beach bar dont forget to ask for the cocktail called crazy sophia, lol.

ENTERTAINMENT......is very romantic and some fun with the Greek night!

ANIMATION TEAM were great and friendly and i enjoyed all the time we played table tennis .

COMPLAINTS....i have read quite a few articles were people have complained about the hotel ,all i can say is that for what you pay i think its excellent value for money

THANKS.....special thanks to all the lovely ladies at the reception, the bar staff(are you still smiling michael, lol),all the members of staff in the restaurant. We love you all and cant wait to see you again next year. All the pics loaded are dedicated to all the wonderful staff of Agios Gordios, keep it up and keep smiling.God Bless you all.

I travelled to this hotel with my partner- after reading all of the reviews I thought it would be amazing. The hotel itself is very clean and new although it completely lacks imagination with the decor- whoever designed it has turned it in to a modern 'Ikea' style hotel with no atmosphere.
The views are spectacular and we both felt that had they not been located in this position it would not have been as good.
The food is better than most all inclusive I have been to with salads for lunch time and although not a huge choice, there was always something which tempted!
You can tell they are only just getting used to All Inclusive though-
The beach bar should be included as All Inc until the other bars as in my opinion it is the best one.
The All Inc should be until you leave the hotel not 11am as it was with us leaving us with no food or drinks until 3am the following morning for our flights.
The staff should be trained to be more friendly- some of them need to learn manners and smile a bit more!(especially the lobby bar!)
The pool area needs to be bigger-it was a bit crammed but maybe this is due to it being on a cliff!
It was a great holiday- just needs some fine tuning as others have said!
I probably would not recomend it as I personally would rather go to a hotel with more character.
