I had high hopes of this place after seeing the reviews on here and the 360 views upon Dinas Paradise website. I had been to AG before so I knew at the very least I would not be let down by the village. I was not let down by this accommodation either or its hosts. Upon arrival, we were met by Dinas, a warm, friendly and very open person who introduced us to her husband Vasilis and offered us a complimentary drink from their new bar. The pool/bar area is to die for with the amazing views, tranquil setting and closeness to the village, yet far enough away for complete privacy. The bar serves drinks and snacks but this is purely seen as a service and not a profit making exercise as they encourage you to bring your own drinks and to use them as a top up in case you run out. Prices are below that of other places in the village too.

The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy with complimentary AC and safety deposit box. Dinas and Vasilis are on hand and very attentive should you need anything but they don't invade your privacy. This is an excellent place to visit and I will be visiting Dinas again as it is the only guarantee you can have to truly enjoy your holiday with no problems. (PS cleaning is done daily and all staff that I came across were very friendly and approachable). A truly magnificent place!!!

Room Tip: All rooms appear good, take a look at the 360 on Dinas Paradise website.

Thank you Dina and Vasilis for another fantastic stay, and for your kind hospitality. The new bar area and breakfast is a good addition. We all had a peaceful, relaxing holiday, and hope to visit again soon.

We visited Dina's Paradise recently with friends who had stayed there before and it was immediately clear to us why they were returning. Even though it was almost midnight when we arrived, the owner Vasillis was not only there to welcome us and help us with our bags, he also treated us to a much needed glass of beer from their new bar area. In fact, throughout the holiday both Dina and Vasillis behaved more as if we were old friends than guests, even driving my husband to the village one day when he needed to pick something up from the pharmacy. We stayed in room 5, which was a lovely size and there was also complimentary water and a bottle of Dina and Vasillis's homemade wine awaiting us on arrival. However, it is the views that really make this room so special and from the balcony you look down on the beautiful curved bay that is Agios Gordios beach. There's no doubt that the walk downhill to the beach is much easier than the walk up but it's definitely worth it. If you fancy a hill-free day then the pool at Dina's Paradise is gorgeous. Buses go into Corfu town regularly and there are a few things to see such as the old and new forts and a number of museums - the archaeological museum is currently closed for renovations but the Asian Art museum has some beautiful pieces from India, China and Japan as well as a photographic exhibition on Greece and China by Robert McCabe. Plus there are lots of tourist shops in the winding streets of the old town. In Corfu, Rex is a lovely (although a little pricey) place to eat and in Agios Gordios, Thalassa and Ark were our particular favourites. Trips to other areas of Corfu and other islands are available from a couple of agents in Agios Gordios but if you're thinking of taking the cruise to Paxos and Anti Paxos don't bother. Four hours to get there on an uncomfortable, crowded boat and three hours back means you only have a couple of hours in Paxos and just half an hour to swim at Anti Paxos. We hired a small motor boat for a couple of hours from a guy at one of the bays round the corner from Agios Gordios, which was great fun. All in all, a very relaxing holiday in a beautiful place with fabulous hosts. Just one other thing, in the summer, Corfu is plagued by wasps and the little devils often turn up in numbers when you're eating. Not a problem if you don't have a phobia but if you do then make sure you get the restaurants to give you a burning pot of coffee grounds - it really does keep them away!

Room Tip: Room 5 is great for beach views if you're a could.

We spent a lovely week at Dina’s Paradise in July – Dina was very helpful throughout the booking process, organised a taxi for us from the airport and gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. Our room – room 5 – was a very good size and had air conditioning and a sea view balcony that felt very private. The pool area has a great view and lots of sunbeds, and when we were there they were just starting to open a bar for drinks and breakfast. We can’t fault anything about Dina’s, but would warn older or less physically able visitors that there’s a very steep hill to climb to get there – it’s worth it, but it’s a bit of a killer in the heat of July! Tavernas we’d particularly recommend for dinner are Elena's, Thalassos and Steven’s on the Hill (next door to Dina’s). The beach is very good for swimming, and you can either choose a sunbed in front of a taverna and buy drinks from them or go to Joyce’s sunbeds in front of Theodoros – she charges 8 euros for two beds and an umbrella for the day, and you can use her lilos, snorkels etc and read her selection of magazines!
We can’t recommend Dina’s highly enough.

Room Tip: I think all balconies have a sea view, so straight-on and some side. Ours, room 5, was side-on but w...

My partner and I stayed at Dina's paradise for the first time on 14th June 2014 for 10 days, and like all of the other visitors we will definitely be booking a holiday there again!

The owners Dina and Vasilis were there to greet us on arrival. A bottle of Vasilis' home made wine and plenty of bottled water were waiting in our kitchen. The apartments are spotlessly clean, and very comfortable.

The beach and taverna's are about a short walk down hill from the apartments, the road is a bit steep but the walk only takes about 5 minutes, and it is worth the effort for the views and the peaceful setting! The restaurants/bars on the beach will let you use their sunbeds free of charge when you buy drinks from them, which is very useful.

We couldn't fault the food in any of the tavernas, we particularly enjoyed the Greek night and grill at the taverna opposite Dina's, Stevens on the Hill, and at the Romantic Palace, a very traditional Greek restaurant on the beachfront.

I decided to propose to my partner as a surprise on the holiday and Dina helped me to plan the whole thing, including setting up a table with roses and champagne overlooking the beautiful views from the poolside, while the sun set - the most romantic view in all of Corfu, and a moment which we will remember forever! (she said yes!)

Thankyou again Dina and Vasilis for your wonderful hospitality and for making our holiday so special!

John and Jayne

I cant thank Dina & Vasilis enough for a fabulous 2 weeks , it really is like coming home , we arrived late at night to a welcoming party , surprise of a new built rustic bar , tasting their lovely home produced wine and wonderful company. Back in our spotless, favourite room with the stunning view and the best neighbours Daisy ,Paul & Max. Our days were chilled, peaceful and relaxing by the pool with beer o,clock called at mid day , greek salads for lunch again incorporating home grown lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies, fresh herbs.
It was our 30th wedding anniversary and Dina & Vasilis did a wondeful barbacue , we had greek music , dancing by the pool , I couldnt think of anywhere else in the world I would have rather been , very memorable night , thankyou again for the fantastic evening , surprise cake and your wonderful hospitality , everyone had a great time . Nothing is ever to much trouble for them , thankyou again for looking after me when I sprained my foot , It really is paradise and we cant wait to come back to see you next year again ....
