Recently returned from Aghios Gordios and stayed nearby the Sea Breeze.
We stayed there twice last year and I cannot rate it highly enough. It has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. People return year after year to Sea Breeze and I can see why. It is friendly and family run, everyone is polite and helpful. The apartments are clean and comfortable, the food at the restuarant is a very good standard, great swimming pool for adults and a small pool for younger children. A childrens play area and it is situated right on the each, heaven! An ideal family resort and location but also enjoyable for adults who want a quieter break.
We have always booked directly and booked our flights seperately, alternatively you can book via Manos. The Rep there is great, very friendly and bubbly.
Booking for next year already and it can't come around quick enough!!

Arrived on 24th May 2010 for our second visit, on arrival we were greated by Vasillis and staff very warmly, they even remembered us from the previous year taking note my hair colour had changed, we retired to our room to unpack but could not do it quick enough, The Sea Breeze is a hotel where you will be warmly received nothing is too much trouble, This is a family run business which is run with pride, many guests return year after year due to the hospitality and location, the hotel is right on the beach, the restuarnat is second to none the best food in Aghios Gordios and this year with a new chef and a vast selection on the menu, we found from walking in the village that the prices year by far the best. We returned on 31st May 2010 very sad to leave, so as soon as we got home I was on the Manos site getting prices for next year and yes although we've always said we would never return to the same place twice, we've booked again for 10 nights next year. So next year will be our 3rd visit I would return year after year as feel so relaxed here..............................:)

I returned from the Sea Breeze in Aghios Gordios about 3 weeks ago, and I am still missing it so much. Well what can I say.. apart from perfect.. As this was our honeymoon we decided to splash out and stay in the annexe in a one bedroom suite. I have to say the room was huge, with a lounge area, fully air conditioned, jacuzzi bath, fully equipped kitchen and fabulous balcony, with the best view ever. The sunsets were amazing and I will never forget them.. The only minus point was the beds were as hard as nails, but it wasn't dreadful. I have heard that the rooms above the hotel sold by Manos are much smaller, however I would imagine the views would be amazing as they are almost on over the beach.

The hotel was highly recommended to me by my Mum and how right she was. She has been about 5 times before and believe me, I will be returning for many years to come. The brothers Vasilis and Yianni who run the hotel couldn't have been more welcoming and after 2 weeks at the resort we felt like part of their family.

The restaurant is fantastic with a great range of food which is very reasonable priced, and ever Sunday night there is a Greek night which was so much fun. The swimming pool area is very pretty which leads to some steps to the great beach.

Agios Gordios is a lovely little resort about 45 minutes from the airport, those who want nightlife would not like it here, but if you want to eat well and have a drink its perfect.

I would highly recommend the local bus service which we used to Corfu Town, Kassiopi and Paleokastritsa. A great service which is so cheap..about 2 Euros per bus ride is the average.. The roads around the area are scary to say the least, with sheer cliff drops by the side of the road, just shut your eyes its not so bad, but the views are truely remarkable.

Greek Islands at the moment is quite costly thanks to the weak pound but if you are eating out, but the standard of restaurants is great.

If you are looking for relaxation you will love this place..

This is a great place to relax . The food and rooms are superb. This is the 5th year we have stayed there and were introduced to it by friends, the best thing they could have done for us. It is a very special place. Much work has been done on the resturant and bar area this year and it just makes it even better.

The hotel was very nice, situated right on the beach with only a 15 - 20 metre walk to the sea which was nice and cool in the 35 degree heat(the pictures on the sea breeze website are exact) and the views are stunning. All apartments, to my knowledge, have sea views which definitely makes waking up in the morning very pleasant. We had a single room which was an ok size though we didnt care for staying in our room apart from sleeping. The room has a sink, kettle, two small cooking hobs, cups, plates and cuttlery provided, a small bathroom, two single beds which were all fine but unfortunately the air conditioning system costs an extra 40 to 60 euros for the week. This added cost was definitely not welcome especially as you really need air conditioning in the scorching heat of corfu and you cant open the windows as the mosquitos will tear you to pieces!
The food in the hotel was of a reasonable standard but the rest of the resort wasnt quite up to scratch for me and my girlfriend.
Venturing out of Aghios Gordios is not the easiest thing to do if you dont drive, as the buses only come once an hour monday to saturday or randomly on sundays and sometimes can get overcrowded meaning you may have to stand for 30 mins as I had to. The winding road through the steep hills in & out of the resort is rather precarious as there are no barriers on the side of the road, this you will become aware of as your bus driver endeavours to safely transport you up and down it (I found it very hair raising) but the thrill seekers of you may enjoy it.
If your just looking to sunbathe then this place will be perfect for you, if however you want more fun there is the arm chair boat ride which speeds you through the water, volleyball, peddleoes, kayaks and loads of shops selling cheap inflatables to while away the hours on the beautiful sea ( it is rather gorgeous.) If you want more fun you will need to go to the other resorts which is a bit of a pain in the rear.
As for Direct Holidays (our tour operator) I cant really complain too much as there rep was helpful and everything ran fairly smoothly. Apart from our arrival and departure. We arrived at 4am in a taxi and were left in almost complete darkness to find our way down a rubbly path to the hotel with our room key left in the door (we new about the door key but not about being left in the pitch black of night.) Then on departure we were left unsure of the whole process as our rep hadnt left clear details, so indepth discusions with the hotel staff were required. If your arriving and departing in the day you probably wont have this problem. We were also told that because we had to have moved out of our hotel room 12 noon on the friday (our flight was not until 2am saturday morning) we would be able to book a spare room to rest/sleep for the final 14 hours of our stay. This was actually not the case and so we had to wait around for 14 hours which in the heat of corfu is a very long time indeed and a mistake we wont be making again.
Overall the holiday was good but not a place we will revisit as it is a bit too small.

We have had a lovely 2 week holiday here 10-24 August 2009. We booked independently and flew with Easy Jet.

The accommodation is in a perfect spot located directly on the beach, in a very quiet spot. We stayed in a one bedroomed ground floor apartment in the annex, about 10 paces from the pool area and restaurant/taverna. The annex accommodation is for independent travellers and the block above the taverna is reserved for Manos Thomas Cook customers.

The apartment had a very spacious lounge area, with fully fitted kitchen double sofa bed for our 2 children, satellite TV, airconditioning. There was a separate double bedroom with individual air con unit. The bathroom was of a good size with bath and over bath shower, sink and wc. Very good quality apartment. Onl one minor gripe, lack of coat hangers and wardrobe space for 4 - maybe OK for smaller children. A patio door from the large lounge area led onto an enclosed terrace - again very spacious, furnished with quality wood table and 3 reclining chairs.
Cleaning was thorough and often, change of bath towels seemed very frequent. Everything immaculate.

Pool area - quite small for the number of guests and for the fact that pools are open to the public. A number of neighbouring properties have use of the pool as part of their terms and quite often the pool area comprised a significant number of these guests. Sunbeds good quality.

Restaurant/Taverna - high quality food from extensive menu serving a mixture of tradtional and international dishes. The Sunday evening Greek night entertainment was excellent - loved watching and listening to the Zorba dance!

Relaxing area at back of restaurant - a lovely area with high quality furniture near to a pool table and satellite TV, mainly showing Sky Sports. Inside - internet access to customers.

Location - in the centre of the beach section, down a very narrow, very quiet road. A 5 minute walk along the board walk to the right you come to the beach road; a 10 minute walk behind the Sea Breeze you find a path to the village centre. The village is lovely, comprising tavernas, bars, villas and accommodation and the usual shops. There are lots of little paths from the beach to the village, quite a network. We used to get up early and explore these!

Overall an ideal, high quality place to stay in a perfect location. This accommodation is very popular and many families were rebooking for the following year.

This friendly family run beach hotel and restaurant cannot be beaten for location, quality or value for money. The staff are very friendly with a good sense of humour.
It is suitable for families with children and romantic couples alike.
The rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning, Jacuzzi bath/ shower, hair dryer, fully fitted kitchen, satellite TV, and sea view balconies.
The recent alterations and improvements have given the premises a very plush feel with the stepped eating areas allowing everyone a perfect view of the beautiful sunsets over the bay at Aghios Gordios - arguably the best sandy beach in Corfu.
The food is of a very high quality and this is undoubtedly one of, if not the, best restaurants in the resort. The menu has a good variety and the chefs are very flexible if there are any special requests.
The Sea Breeze has a prime location on one of the best beaches in one of the most picturesque areas of Corfu. There is a nice sized swimming pool and seperate baby pool with ample area for about 35 sunbeds. It has the best restaurant in the resort.
The rooms are very comfortable. It is run by a friendly, close-knit family. Believe me,
YOU WON'T FIND ANY BETTER.
