“Good Location, but some issue…...”

We booked two rooms for a for a 6 night stay in August. The Hotel is in a great location overlooking Kerveli Beach and very popular with package holidays (mostly from Germany). The rooms are of a good size, there is a nice pool and sun beds on terraces overlooking the sea. It's a short walk down to the beach (200m) or you can swim directly from the Hotel (small beach and pontoon). However the hotel has a frustrating "penny pinching" approach - you need to pay for a fridges, beach towels and even shampoo is not provided, but sold in reception. We paid extra for a superior room - supposedly with the best "unrestricted" sea views - but the rooms were on the ground floor and had rather disappointing views (one room had trees and bushes in front of the balcony). When we booked we had asked for a double and a twin - but on arrival were given two twins with no options to change. The staff were on the whole helpful and we had a good holiday - but on leaving they conveniently forgot about our 300 euro deposit we had previously paid. Breakfast was good, but dinner was "buffet style" - we chose to eat at the local Taverna's, both of which were very good. Overall the hotel is geared up to package holidays rather than independent travellers, but would go back probably at a quieter time of year,

Room Tip: Ask for a superior room on the second floor, with an un-restricted sea view. Ground floor rooms have...

I loved this hotel! It's off the beaten path, very private and secluded. We had been traveling for 6 days and this was our beach paradise part of the vacation. Kerveli has a neat little pebble beach with a floating doc. The water is beautiful, blue and refreshing. It was very quiet, not crowded at all. The food was great. I can't remember thier names but the woman who works at the cafe was wonderful, the gentleman who runs the buffet was so friendly and accomodating, the German woman who runs the desk at night was such a delight...the woman who runs the desk during the day was very helpful. The car rental service was great...we saw the whole island and laid on the beach in one day. the food on Samos is delicious...the staff recommended the little Nest restaurant which is walking distance to Kerveli Village and it was GREAT!
My only complaint was the room being a little too warm. The temp is controlled and it was a bit too warm for us.

Room Tip: get a room with a view of the water!

This is a beautiful, quiet, hotel with excellent rooms( ours had a gorgeous sea view), helpful and friendly staff.Breakfast buffet was very good with freshly baked rolls and pastries.(Fresh fruit would have been an improvement- especially as so much is available locally). Wifi reception in room was good but could have been included in the room charge .Kerveli is quite cut off ; there are 2 local tavernas and a hotel minibus to Samos town but otherwise not much to do except swim and relax- perfect if that's what you want.

Room Tip: ask for a sea view

You never had the feeling of a crouded place although the hotel was fully booked. Our room with sea view was very nice and air conditioned. The different houses always gave you the feeling of intimacy instead of a big hotel complex. The patio for breakfast and dinner is very romantic while sunset and offers an impressive view at the lights of the turkish coast at night. Staff is very supportive, friendly, service oriented and speaks German, English and Greek. Hotel offers rental cars and daily shuttle service to Samos City, arranges BBQ-Dinner and Greek Nights. Olive trees, grape bushes, fig trees, herbs and flowers express what you imagine a greek atmosphere. We don't have anything that was not great at Kerveli Village Hotel. WE will come back and can highly recommend this hotel for couples.

A little piece of heaven. Stunning, peaceful, quiet location. Other guests charning and the staff helpful and courteous. The dining patio could not be better - the food although perfectly good could be improved. (Tinned peaches at breakfast, no fresh orange!) However be warned; there are lots of extras. WiFi, safe, fridge and beach towels (take your own). I would recommend hiring a car by the day, you may not want to leave the hotel very often!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with sea view without a pine tree in front!

i found this to be a very professionally run family hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the location is spectacular, overlooking the bay with relatively easy access (steps) to shaded terraces and a shingle beach and swimming platform with good snorkelling. The resturant was also good - lots of choice for breakfast and dinner. I tended to go for the more Greek options at dinner - stuffed peppers, fish with spinich etc. which were very good. My room was not large but adaquate and very clean and with an amazing view. If you don't want to eat in the hotel there are two tavernas to choose from within 10 mins walking distance. I will come back!
