Mousehouse is located in a great area away from the main village but close enough to walk to the local supermarket and restaurants. It has everything you need from all the mod cons and extras like Wifi. The TV also has a USB so if you have a hard drive full of films you also access those...very handy for me to playback my GoPro clips.
Also don't let the lack of pool put you off as you can go down to the Egrypos in the village where they have a great pool which you can use.
I had a fab time and I look forward to returning again!
Me and my friend, teenage daughter and friend stayed at Mousehouse last year. We'd been the year before and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's perfect to take teenagers to because with its twin room, 2 double bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms we all had our own space and there was no queuing for a bathroom at 'peak' times. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment, cutlery, crockery etc. There are adapter plugs, towels and hairdryers. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning, there is a big and effective standing fan in the comfortable lounge. My favourite area is the spacious veranda overlooking the garden brimming with tropical plants and shrubs. The free wifi connection was also a big plus++++ for the girls, particularly after returning in the evenings after a leisurely 15-20 minute stroll to eat at one of the many local tavernas by the sea. At this time of year, it is very hot, and we often didn't set out until 8pm or usually later.
The local people are heart-warmingly friendly and hospitable, and there are cries of "Kallispera" all the way there! The quality of the light as the sun goes down is unforgettable, as the lights from the boats and tavernas are smudged against the sea.
There are so many beaches to visit, but our favourites are the Panorama, and Lefkimmi, all a short car journey away. For younger children I would recommend Lefkimmi as it is a lovely sandy beach and the sea is very shallow for a long way, and it is calm and safe. There's a small restaurant there to buy lunch too. There is a swimming pool at a local bar about 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes in the car that can be used. This is free of charge and all that is required is that you buy a drink or two. However, we had lunch there several times and the food is delicious!
I love this place, and I can't recommend it highly enough. In 4 days time we are going for the third year in a row and we can't wait!

We were so impressed by the facilities in this beautifully appointed house. Quiet, semi rural location but only minutes from the restaurants and bars of the (very) friendly seaside village. Spacious, clean and with ample 'modern comforts', we have booked again for a swift return. In summary, recommended.
We've stayed here 3 times now and it never disappoints! The gardens are lush with several seating areas. The rooms are all bright and airy and very comfortable. The house is close enough to the village with shops and plenty of lovely restaurants within walking distance. There are gorgeous beaches a short drive away and Petriti beach within walking distance. A great get away if you are seeking a bit of peace and quiet. Just don't book my 10 days in September!
