Have just returned home after a week away. The resort is in a great spot in Noosaville. Within walking distance of great cafes and beautiful river sunsets. The resort was popular with young families during our stay with the pool being very popular. This did make it tricky at times to get a quiet spot in the spa/pool area. However the pool was warm and very clean.

My only criticism of our apartment is the balcony wasn't very private. When sitting on our balcony we were very close to our neighbours. Also found neighbours smoked on their balcony meaning we kept the beautiful timber windows and door closed a lot of the time - this was quite annoying.

Overall a good place to stay, with a clean, reasonably priced and adequate apartment and welcoming staff.

This is our second stay in six months.
The apartments are great value for money.
Heather and Tony are really nice managers and are always willing to go out of their way to help.
The pool is large and kept immaculate as is the surrounding gardens.
This resort is just off gympie terrace which is good because it is quieter but you can still walk everywhere. We have enjoyed two very relaxing holidays at this beautiful resort.

As other reviewers have mentioned - this is a very nice property located right near the river and close to the local shops, cafes, restaurants etc... The supermarket is only a few blocks away as well. Each apartment has a designated carpark in the undergound car park (with automatic gates)

The apartment was much larger than I thought. The one drawback for us was that the couch and chairs were a bit uncomforable with a sloping back (your back hurt if you slouched in it for too long). There is a nice balcony area which overlooks the pool and grass area where you could have meals. It was well equiped but you will need to buy condiments, glad wrap etc... There is a BBQ which is free to use which was very well maintained.

The one negative we had with our stay (not the fault of the owners) was that the family in the apartment above had young children who woke at 5am and ran up and down the apartment so we were woken up every day by the noise and vibration on our ceiling. The people in the adjacent apartment to us would comiserate with us each morning how early we were all woken up. I ended up buying silicon earplugs at the local pharmacy which blocked out a lot of the noise so at least I could "sleep in" till 7am. The owners mentioned that it was unseasonally busy as the school holidays were over but the place was still close to full.

The pool area was fantastic for guests with a baby pool, the main pool and jacuzzi area. Our 18 mth old loved wading around in the baby pool. The deckchairs go early though so if you want one near the pool you need to go out in the early afternoon.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floor in case you have the same problem we did.

Thank you so much for your kind review of your stay at Montpellier and it's great to hear that you liked the resort so much. We are sorry though that you were disturbed by noise from the apartment above. Generally we try to accommodate family groups in one part of the resort, and couples in another, but it's not always possible when the resort is heavily booked. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again should you return to Noosaville so that we can make sure you have a less disturbed stay next time. Thanks again for taking the time to write a review.

We stayed here for 7 nights in October 2012 with 2 kids. Pool and spa are the best that we have ever seen. Rooms are great and a 1 minute walk gets you to the river and start of the cafes. Woolies is a walk of less than 3 blocks. Kids loved the pool which was heated. Could not fault this resort.

We recently stayed here for 8 nights. I have nothing but praise for this wonderful place. This lovely boutique resort had everything we needed, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. On arrival we were really impressed with Heather personally showing us our designated car parking bay and to our unit. We loved the pool and spa. Our unit was spacious, clean and welcoming. We had a great view from our balcony of the pool and gardens. The grounds and pool were meticulously maintained and clean. The location is perfect - one minute walk to Gympie Terrace with all the restaurants and cafes, in a nice leafy street. We were very sad to leave, and we'll be back!

Room Tip: Ask for a unit with a balcony.

Everything was lovely - the pools in particular. Great for families. Quiet and restful - great landscaping and the complex isn't too big. Very clean and the apartments have everything you need for a long stay. Tony and Heather very gracious. The location is great particularly if you have young children - noosaville is much more relaxed than hastings street and the kids enjoyed playing in the sand by the river. We will be back.

Room Tip: Rooms on the east are sunnier
