We spent 4 nights here....Wow did we wish we had longer. The apartment was beautiful...big, bright and airy. The pool area was fantastic ( agree with a previous reviewer that a few more parasols would be great). The location was great- one minute walk to gympie terrace and 10 minutes by bus ( or about half an hour on foot) to Hastings street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would come back in an instant. Highly recommend it.

We have just come back from spending 9 wonderful days in Noosa coupled off with staying at the most fabulous accom, being Montpellier. From our arrival with the lovely Gail, we were given our keys and shown our parking space.
The Unit is big and spacious, fully functioning kitchen with the kitchen utensils pots and pans you need should you so desire to cook. it is bright and sunny with the skylights letting all the gorgeous noosa sun shine in.
We used the share bbq outside near the pool and even when we had a slight problem starting the gas bottle (hubby didn't read instructions propertly). The very kind gentleman who looks after the resort drove to us as he had left for the night and in 5 minutes we were up and running.
Everything is clean and neat and tidy. bbq is cleaned regularly and a quick call from Gail halfway through our stay to let us know that our unit was being cleaned on that day was perfect.
make sure to sit in your own private and very spacious balcony having brekkie over looking the pool was a great way to start our mornings.
Noosaville, is a great location this resort offers all you need. you can walk easily to grab a coffee or lunch and dinner along the main drag without having to get to hastings street if you so desire.
If you are THINKING about booking Montpellier, think no more BOOK IT. you wont be disappointed. Believe me.. we kept pushing our check out on the last day a little bit more and a little bit more and a little bit more...
Would we go back to Montpellier again.. you better believe it.

Room Tip: we asked for an upstairs room with all the units having a wonderful spacious outdoor balcony

Just enjoyed a lovely 8 night stay in Noosa at the Montpellier Boutique Resort. We were a party of 4 adults (me and husband, both 33, our daughter, 6 months, and my parents, both 62) looking for a relaxing holiday and the Montpellier and Noosa totally delivered.

Apartments and complex: Our apartment was spotlessly clean, 2 bed, 2 bath, lots of space and well appointed with all the usual facilities including very effective air con :) The balcony was lovely and sheltered even on the windiest day and had a lovely view overlooking the pool - it caught just enough sunshine to allow us to dry out our much used bathers but mostly stayed in the shade, a welcome escape from the QLD sunshine. The pool area was awesome for our 6 month old, lots of different depths for her sit/stand/splash/swim in. Also great for sitting and reading in the water to stay cool and we enjoyed having a couple of chill out sessions in the spa when it was lit up after dark. As I was up everyday at 7am with the baby, I observed the manager (?) diligently testing the pH/chlorine levels every day. BBQ area had 3 4-person tables under cover and we enjoyed several meals down there - also saw that the BBQ area was diligently maintained, along with the rest of the complex's beautiful garden.

Location: Brilliant! The Montpellier is on a quiet road, 1 minute walk from Gympie Terrace's restaurants. There are plenty of good cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets within 10 minutes walk. There is also a Woolies/Dan Murphy's within a 10 min walk. Highly recommend a walk down to the Noosa Farmers Market on Sundays - nice 20 min walk along the river. For the more active there are heaps of jet ski/kayak/SUP/boat hire places also along the river within a 5 min walk. Getting to Noosa Heads and Hastings St is easy - either catch the ferry (5 mins walk to the nearest jetty and then 10 min ferry ride - $7 one way), call a taxi ($12 and 5 min drive) or a pleasant 40 min walk. We much preferred staying in Noosaville as it was quieter than Noosa Heads.

Service: Staff were happy to arrange a travel cot for our baby to sleep in and transfers to and from Maroochydore Airport (very swish Mercedes with suitable baby seat fitted).

Quibbles (and they are only minor): The main pool is a basin-style pool (it's deepest in the middle) and my mum who's only 5"3 could only stand up at the very edges. There is no sign (that we could see) saying that children shouldn't go in the spa pool, we saw several small children in there and the water was far too hot for kids. There wasn't much shade round the pool - a couple more parasols would have been great.

Room Tip: We stayed in Apt 2 which was on the first floor. Balcony was nice and sheltered, however we had to e...

We have been to this hotel many times in the last 6 years and the place still looks great. Pool is great and the location is ideal. Spa has been refurbished. Rooms are great for families as you have two bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and washing machine and dryer. Local restaurants are great I did like La Riviera, Zaccari's and Lazy River Restaurant down the road ideal for a tasty meal, Pizza's at Zac's amazing!!

We had such a ball at Montpellier. Such a fabulous location and the pool was to die for. Great for our family of four. It was so lovely to be able to wonder down to the river and also Noosa itself was only a short and easy bus or ferry ride away. We'll be back!

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Montpellier and i wish it had been longer! I stayed with my Husabnd and 2 children aged 14 and 1. Our room was modern and spacious with everything you need catered for. The bed was comfortable and i loved the way our balcony overlooked the pool (i think all the rooms do). The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal being so close to the shops and river. The pool was perfect. Not too cold and not to warm. Just a really relaxing place to be. I will be recommending to all my friends and family when the travel to Noosa to stay at Montpellier and when we return we wont stay anywhere else.

Me, my husband and two daughters stayed at Montpellier for 9 nights in January. Tony and Heather were really helpful and it's in a fantastic spot, just a short walk from Gympie Terrace ad all the great restaurants and cafes. Try Vanilla at the end of James Street. Excellent food and service.
The apartment we had was on the top floor, it was spacious, had excellent light and a lovely view of the pool from the balcony.
We were a wee bit disappointed with the state of the furniture in the apartment. The dining chairs had a few stains on them and the couch was covered in white fluff. We could see that some of the other apartments had leather couches and dining chairs which is a far better option for keeping clean.
Despite this small niggle we had an awesome time. The girls loved the pool. If they'd had their way we would have spent all day in it!
Thanks Tony and Heather for a great holiday.
