Description: Inspired by, and named after the hot Saharan wind that sweeps across North Africa and the Mediterranean basin and into Europe, you will find Sirocco Noosa to be an exciting new culinary experience. Our menu encapsulates the flavourful essence of North African, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Turkish cuisine- to name a few. Our culinary creations are infused with exotic spices such as harissa, sumac and za’atar which are married delectably with the freshest ingredients, including free range eggs and organic milk. Sirocco is all about interaction – with friends, the river, our amazing flavours and our own Sirocco breeze.

As others have mentioned, Sirocco doesn't ever seem very full, but it has a really interesting and varied menu. It has lots of options for vegetarians, which is a rarity in Noosa and Noosaville it seems.
They have lots of great brekky options, I went for the baked spanish omelette and my partner really enjoyed the scrambled eggs. They also do great coffee.
Service was friendly and prompt, and we're also planning to go back for dinner - again, as there is a wide variety of options on the menu.

Sirocco is a wonderfully placed restaurant in Gympie Terra, Noosaville overlooking the beautiful Noosa River. Parking is tight at times especially during the tourist holiday periods but plenty to be found if you don't mind a short stroll.
The menu here is a delight and they especially cater for Ceoliacs or anyone with a gluten intolerance. Nearly EVERY item on their menu is either gluten free or can be made gluten free. This in no way detracts from the high quality of fare available to anyone that can eat a normal meal. Their menu is reasonable extensive with emphasis on Tappas especially for the lunch-time diners. For our visit today I ordered the Eye fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and my wife order the gluten free prawn linguini which she found absolutely delicious.
There is an extensive wine list but as they allow BYO we were happy to bring our own.

As the poster below said - the restaurant is often empty. People often dont go to empty restaurants if they have never been there before - i am one of them. Because of this - I never visited on previous trips until the other night when we got to the strip too late (7.00pm! ) and the tables at all the popular places were either taken or reserved so we started walking and saw a couple of free tables there and thought we would give it a go. Beggers cant be choosers.

We were expecting the worst - and actually had a great experience. The food was really excellent, so was the service. I would go again.

I suspect one reason that people do not make it 1st or even 2nd choice if they have never been there before is their menu. It consists of gourmet pizzas and a few other dishes that are not too appealling when you read the description on the menu. We chose the pizzas - they were really fantastic - I had a "Pissaliadere" type pizza consisting of caramelised onion, and lots of fresh white anchovies and some capers and really excellent Kalamata olives (I'm a bit of an olive connoisseur). My daughter had a kids size ham and pineapple pizza - it was really a full size pizza at half the price with excellent leg ham and fresh QLD pineapple - really yum.

I must say I had a dessert - the banana brulle - dont get it - bananas should not be brulled - the top was perfect but there were banana bits, no smooth custardy consistency. My husband however loved the berry tiramisu.

So, if people actually gave this place a chance they might like it and it would fill up. I suggest they keep the pizzas and change the mains on the menu to attract more clientele.
